The cost was 28$, but we were discounted 3$ since the campground had no showers and no toilet (one available in the hotel building). Cyclists should simply head towards Morse another 13km. Staff were however very talkative

Motel located between highway and CPR mainline (noisy!). Nice landscaping but dated exterior needs a paint job. Friendly management but 'pricey'. Rooms are small but clean, fridge & microwave, small TV, a few some channels, morning coffee in the lobby.

Horrible customer service. 0 stars
My sister and I stopped in after driving for five hours in bad winter conditions. He saw I had a dog and almost didn’t give us a room even tho there’s a sign at the desk stating there’s a $15 pet fee (which I have no problem paying) basically had to convince him. He charged us $150 for this room. And said you could go somewhere else if we wanted instead. The key was the wrong one for the door which he never replaced, the Wi-Fi didn’t work and when I went to ask him he was sitting on his couch watching tv ignoring me after ringing the bell ten times. The vents blew cigarette smoke. Do not recommend
Merry Christmas to you
Ps. My dog slept on your beds

This guy was very rude from the second we walked in the door. Not even a courtesy "hello, how you doin". Then we found out it was $99 for a night, we were visibly dissapointed and he yelled at us!! If it wasn't for the fact that we were caught in a very nasty storm, on our Harley, we would have moved on. The motel is in very bad shape, water coming in under the door from the rain, no heat. Not nice at all. Certainly can't justify the $99 a night. Avoid this motel!!

The room I had was clean and had a good bed and bath plus fridge and microwave. I habitually use earplugs, when travelling, so I slept very well. I'm deducting one star, because on the outside the motel could use some TLC and another one, because they have no pool (there is one in town though). However, I'm adding a star for the exceptional friendliness with which I was treated, i even got a tour of the Alpaca farm and was taken to see a Hutterite Colony.

A nice little motel in small town Saskatchewan! Rooms are clean with fridge and microwave. The owners are friendly and appreciate your business. The grounds were clean and we were able to enjoy our free morning coffee on the many bistro sets located on the property. There is also a campground located on this property as well.

Bed very uncomfortable, room very hot. No coffee/tea making facilities. Very old TV with minimul stations and reception. Outdated decor and didn't feel clean.
Right on the train line and trains ran all night. Being near the crossing, horn blew all night long. Did not sleep at all.
Staff polite and friendly.

Horrible place.... should be shutdown, a health hazard, a disgrace to Saskatchewan and Canada. The bed!! like a pile sacks with potatoes, dirty sheets/ pillows, AC is no good, crap showers TV from the nineties, with grainy/ snowy picture, the joint is sixties style, rough and very shabby all over. So over-priced for such a dump, a 'real dump' no coffee/ tea or any breakfast, we were in great priced motels in other provinces they were just great with nice breakfast and good rooms The vile 'Lone Eagle' is the worst motel we have ever had the misfortune to stay a night in, beware people its 100% toilet/ a rip- off, a dump, its dirty, loud and horrible. The owner or host? does not give a damn, she hides away and tell her guest~victims to ..just leave the key in the crappy room in the room, she does not want any feedback or complaints about the poor excuse-for-a-motel she runs.... shame and disgrace be upon her and the Government of Saskatchewan for allowing such a rip-off, gouging, dump of motel to operate and exploit tired, weary strangers and travellers who get snared into the very low-end so- called motel called the 'Lone Eagle' 'Herbert' Saskatchewan. Loud horns from the many trans rumbling close by..... ALL Night long... Yeah. PS They don't come much worse that the slop/ crud overpriced... Lone Eagle... so-called motel, its like the Bates Motel without the murders!!! {KEEP WELL AWAY} should be on a big sign on the Highway.

My family had a reunion in Herbert, and this was the only motel/hotel that was close. This motel accommodated my siblings we had the total of 5 rooms and when I first arrived I was shocked. BUT after sleeping in the most comfortable clean bed, and getting up in the morning with hot coffee and all of our family sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. I was so happy for it may not be a 5 star hotel but the management is amazing, the rooms were clean. But if you want to have close contact with your family and you want to enjoy each other and be close this is the perfect place. I would go and stay there again it made our family reunion even more special....

Stayed in room #6, shower did not work, needs a lot of TLC. Right next to the train tracks, several went by during the night, which woke me up. Air Conditioning did not work. TV did not work. Very poor value for the price paid. Would have appreciated my morning shower
