I was there for a few nights on business and enjoyed the catered food and conference facilities. The resort is large, can accommodate multiple events and has an onsite bar and restaurant. Located on International, there are several older 2 story buildings throughout the resort surrounding 2 pools and a (closed) hot tub. I liked the generous amount of pillows, the grounds were pretty and mostly well kept, the B&B products, the location between WaWa and Starbucks, proximity to restaurants, newspaper and the balcony. I did not like how hard you had to (loudly) slam the room doors, the ac unit couldn't keep up, loud late outdoor party on pre-holiday night and some towels were stained or had stains or black or brown specks of I have no idea. Housekeeping did a pretty good job, I saw how hard they were working but they did forget a couple things. The only mirror was in the bathroom, check in was handled well though no diamond member "appreciation" and often had long lines. It was a mixed bag for me, but overall was ok.

Positives : location ,good gym and decent pool area , drink prices at the bar were great

Cons: we had to return to the desk 3 times because our key stopped working . Cleanliness is sub par, friends toilet overflowed And at first they told them they couldn’t get anyone there all day to fix it and they were unsure they could get them moved and had to wait all day for new room, lots of sketchy guests and different people getting arrested daily on the property. Our view from room even though we got premium view was of the parking lot, bathroom is tiny , smallest I have ever encountered in a hotel

Looking somewhere just to lay your head and go to the parks it’s a good value other than that would not stay again.

I was traveling with my teen daughter for a team competition that required us to stay in this hotel or one of the event sponsor’s partner facilities, as her team was competing at the nearby Orange County Convention Center. I chose this hotel because it was a name brand, and I wanted to make sure we had a clean, safe room over our two night stay. Immediately upon entering the property, I recognized that our building shared its parking lot with a very large, active Wawa (gas station). Additionally, both the entrance and exit were busy and the buildings were sprawling walk up style units with individual entrances. Unrelated businesses appeared sporadically in the footprint of the hotel which we personally found to be difficult and confusing to navigate by car with the competing car/bus and foot traffic.

Pros: Staff was nice and very accommodating. On the exterior, the property looks well maintained. It makes a nice initial impression, especially for the price. It appeared to have amenities people would enjoy. It was near the Orange County Convention Center, close to Icon Park and has its own Convention Center (a Furry Convention was taking place based on the crowd walking around). I imagine there are many bars and restaurants in or near the facility based on the strong smell of alcohol emanating from the guest behind me who was way too close to me in the long check in line. Different vibe than what I look for in lodging with my teen daughter, but the hotel was packed and sold out, so it is obviously a popular choice with a lot to offer people traveling for leisure.

Con: When I checked in, something in room made my allergies start acting up immediately. Room was small and dated, but what was significant to us was that it was obviously not clean. My opinion is that it had not been cleaned thoroughly between guests based on the hair and dirt in the bathroom, both floor and tub. The way the sheets looked and everything on them - they did not appear to me to have been laundered between guests. The walls and floorboards were beat up and everything felt and appeared both dusty and grimy, leaving an overall poor impression for a traveler who is fussy about cleanliness.

Between our perception that the room was not clean, the fact that my allergies acted up (only while in the room) and the lack of comfort I personally felt traveling alone with my daughter given the open layout of the property and the sliding doors which essentially opened to the back parking lot shared with a gas station, we checked out without unpacking. Based on what we look for in a hotel, it was not In line with our expectations.

We checked out immediately and found another point motel/hotel near the convention center. No issues there. 2 other families in my travel party also independently checked out after reportedly finding their rooms to be dirty. One family reported strong smells coming from an adjacent room.

1. The door of our room sounded horrible every time it was opened. The hinges obviously need work.
2. We had to have the mini fridge replaced. When we walked in to the room, there was water on the floor around it. The seal was torn, the freezer part was completely frozen over and there was a pool of water in the bottom that was running out onto the floor. We notified the front desk and the refrigerator was replaced that evening, however the other one that we had moved out to the patio remained there (despite telling the front desk where it was located - twice) for the duration of our stay.
3. When using a towel to wipe up the water, it became obvious just how filthy the floors were. The white towel was black with dirt. There was loose debris all over the floor. We went to the front desk, explained the problem and asked specifically to have the floors cleaned. We were instructed to confine our small dog in the room so that they could do the cleaning. When we returned hours later, there were more towels on the bed but the floors were still filthy and obviously untouched. Socks worn in the room were black on the bottom and floors felt tacky and dirty. We didn't dare walk barefoot in the room.
4. There were towels provided in the bathroom with dark brown dirty spots all over them. They were very obviously not cleaned before being placed on the back of the toilet and the shelf.
5. The bathroom counter top was dirty
6. The caulking was coming undone from around the tub
7. The shower curtain had obviously been pulled down or torn at some point but was never replaced.
8. There was a cheeto bag under the edge of the bed closest to the sliding door.
9. The bathtub faucet handle fell off and slammed onto my 9 year old son's foot while he was in the shower. Fortunately he was done competing in the martial arts tournament that we were there for before receiving the painful injury.
10. The a/c is not running correctly. We had to set the set point to nearly 60 degrees to get it to cool down in the room and the humidity continued to be thick and uncomfortable.
11. A quick walk down the hall inside the building pointed to the fact that a vacuum cleaner is obviously not being used AT ALL on the carpets. There were piles of dirt and debris throughout the hall and along the baseboards. It remained this way for the duration of our stay.

Zero stars. We made a reservation for two connecting rooms. When we arrived to check in, on March 7, 2020, our rooms had been given to away and we were told our new rooms would not be side by side. Initially we were told our rates per room would be $135.00 with a $40.00 security deposit, that would be refunded after check out. The gentleman at the front desk was magically able to find two rooms that were connecting and assign us to those rooms. Once in our room, we noticed the floors were sticky and the bathroom smelled like someone had just bathed a dog in there. We put that aside and enjoyed our night out in Orlando. We checked out at 11:00 am on Sunday March 8, 2020. Upon arriving home I checked my bank account and I was charged $248.35, and my friends were charged 218.85 for the other room. Immediately I call the hotel and got transferred to the front desk, and was then hung up on. Once I finally got to speak to someone her name was Jamida, she stated she was the manager on duty. I was extremely dissatisfied with her inability to resolve the issue. She placed me on hold and left me on hold for 15 minutes. I hung up and called back and spent another 25 minutes on the phone with her, telling me she would have to deal with this tomorrow (Monday, March 9, 2020.) extremely irritated at the poor customer service she provided me and the lack of concern from her for the mistakes that were made, I let her know That we had two options: she could send me an email stating she would be issuing a full refund for both of the rooms, or I could contact my lawyer and dispute the charges in that manner. At that point she offered me a discount and I let her know that I would not accept the discount and that I would be contacting my lawyer in the morning. Jamida provided such horrible customer service with me, I can even fathom how she was supposedly appointed the manager on duty, let alone the ONLY manager there. Future travelers: don’t stay here!! You will be absolutely disappointed!!

Icon Park is in the backyard and Universal Studies and CityWalk is only 10 minutes away and there is a shuttle. Any type of restaurant you would want is within walking distance. Room was sufficient. I actually was here on business, but scoped out things for potential family vacation. I stayed in room with two double beds. Depending on ages of kids, a family of 4 may be cramped in the room. The bathroom was smaller than most hotels I have stayed in. There's no microwave in the room, but there is a mini-fridge. There is a microwave in the main lobby building you can use if you need to heat up anything, but depending on what building you are staying in, it might be a bit of a walk. The interior of the buildings are not well marked in directing you to your rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was in excellent condition. There are at least two pools and the pool-side cafe has some very good food and selection of beers , wine and cocktails. They do offer family suites, which seem bigger and accommodating. i would recommend the place if heading only to Universal Studios, since its so close and there is free parking.

First of all, the outside trash cans were full, so there were rats everywhere. The poolside restaurant had a problem with squirrels jump on the chairs and tables to beg for food while you were eating. In the room the refrigerator didn't work, the safe didn't work and the shower rod was broken so the shower curtain didn't keep water off the floor.

Be sure to bring binder clips to close the curtains because the patio lights shine in the room at night. The clips will also help keep the shower curtain in place.

Be very careful with the hot water. It is scalding hot. I've never encountered a hotel room with water this hot. You could use it to make your coffee in the morning.

And be prepared to remake the bed before sleeping in it. The sheets used to cover the mattress don't fit so you have to use one of the top sheets to cover the mattress fully.

This “resort” is an absolutely outdated, disgusting hotel that takes advantage of the location by charging extra resort fees but you are essentially just paying for a pool and a parking spot. Rooms were absolutely filthy with blood and hair on towels, sunk in mattresses, dirty sheets. My stay was terrible with children in the rooms next door slamming doors and beating on windows all hours of day and night. Will never stay at this hotel again.

I was responsible for organizing a four day meeting for my company in Orlando. I contacted several potential venues, but Daniel and his team were the best choice I could ever make. They were extremely responsive, patient with my indecisions, generous with their time and most helpful with ideas and suggestions. Daniel was my point of contact through booking then Shauna took over for meal planning, AV equipment planning, rooms, etc.. As I was the sole person working on this event I needed their support and they gave it to me in spades. Once we arrived the meeting rooms were perfect. We changed the layout a few times over the 4 days and each time they were perfect. Literally nothing was missed each time they broke the room down and reset it into a difference configuration. OMG - The food and beverage attendants were FANTASTIC, I cannot say enough about the quality and quality of the food and how their team served it to us. Everyone in attendance kept raving about the food. My hats off to their chef and kitchen staff. I wish I could write more to convey how truly wonderful our experience in having our meeting there was. I encourage you to give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Hi, I’m not sure about the age requirements but I would strongly recommend staying at another hotel. There are other options nearby that are much higher standard and cheaper. There were no free shuttle buses to any of the parks when we stayed.
