We were only there one night. The room was small, as was the bathroom. Access to the shower was a little frustrating, because the old sliding doors did not slide well. They were supplied with soap and shampoo, there was no hair dryer.
They don't have air conditioning, but in September, we opened the windows and the temperature was fine. The room had a standing fan.
They offer breakfast and it had options and was well cooked. For us it was very good: juices, hot dishes, yogurt, cheese, we had a good breakfast.
The best thing about the hotel, the location and the staff who assisted us that day.
You can walk the distance between the station and the hotel, more or less 7 minutes, and around you find shops, markets, restaurants, internal bus routes.
We were attended that day by Lucía, who received us with great enthusiasm and warmth, she recommended how to go to the places and the beautiful parts of the lake, which buses to take, and gave us some passes to take free public transportation. We feel very well cared for.
We were also assisted by a guy who explained to us how to enter the hotel after 9:30 when the reception closes. He was also very attentive and friendly.

When we arrived at the hotel at 6 p.m. no one was at the reception desk and we had to call a number and wait for 15 minutes. Then I had to pay at the check in, before looking at my room (big error!). We found the room open, dirty and messy, with the beds shattered and towels on the ground.
I new room was then assigned to us, but we found it in bad condition. The floor was wet, there were hair on the pillows snd the bathroom wad not clean.
We also registered a number of oddities. For example, to switch on or off the lamps, the only option was to screw or unscrew the bulbs! In addition, the cleaners had no uniforms, gloves and face mask.
Rather than stay in the hotel, we preferred to drive half the night to go home.
No real lobby/reception, no place to sit during the day, no personel during the day to assist you or anything, and no way of getting something to drink or anything
Breakfast was a joke, with just a few options, such as toast, cereal, and eggs, they don't refill when empty and you can't toast your bread without the power being cut off.
The rooms are small and dark, and the bathroom looks like something from the 60's with mold in the corners.
Theres no parking and public parking is very expensive.
My main problem was the lack of breakfast, as they charge you a high price for low quality and lack of options, and then the lack of staff to help you during the day.
It could just as easy be a cheap hostel with no service, and the price should be 1/3 of what is is, så stay clear and book a hotel close by for a bit more, but with the service you expect.
Upon arrival, I was early but to be honest I was early at all the hotels, this one sent me away.
There was no hand wash in the toilet.
There was supposed to be a kettle, there was none. The room description stated a second bathroom, none although that was not needed.
The beds were creaky. The shower door broken and would not close yet I was made to sign a disclaimer to say if I flooded the bathroom I would have to pay a CFR500 fine. The tiles are falling off.
Interlaken was a good experience but please don’t go to this hotel.

You pay in advance
There bugs on the floor, so much so that you could hear them scurry on the well appointed pergo floor. We had to leave nothing was done to remediate this. The office closed at 9 pm no place for key drop off. I saw where 1 couple lost their money for 4 days. You are better off going on to Grindewald or another city.
