We saw a lot of beauty & culture during our trip to Switzerland -- but Interlaken was the highlight. We were blessed to be able to stay in lower-priced lodging that easily met our needs.
The closest public bus stop for this hotel is Jungfraustrasse, a stop on both the #103 and the #21 buses. Both bus routes go between the Interlaken West and the Interlaken Ost Stations, so just hop on either bus at either station if you arrive by train. Guests will receive a pass allowing unlimited, free rides on all buses in Zone 1, which covers most of the city.
Our room featured half-bath, coffee-maker, hair dryer, and TV with over 100 channels -- 22 in English. It was clean, quiet, and well-maintained. Free amenities included wifi and a breakfast buffet, with a good amount of variety, in a charming dining area. Hotel desk is not available at all hours, so plan your check-in & check-out accordingly. Staff interactions were friendly & professional.
The rooms were not luxurious, but they met our needs while visiting one of the most exciting areas we've ever gone to.
