The Evenia Rocafort Hotel is located in a strategic area of the city: very close to the park and the exhibition site of Montjuic and various points of tourist-cultural interest, such as the Magic Fountains, the Caixa Forum or the Las Arenas shopping centre, built inside the former bullring of Barcelona. A small hotel with a very personalized service... The Evenia Rocafort hotel has 51 bedrooms, guaranteeing its guests personal attention. It may also be referred to as a family hotel, slightly unusual in city hotels due to the high number of clients and bedrooms. The Evenia Rocafort hotel staff is always at your disposal to satisfy all your needs and to help you make the most of your visit to Barcelona.

Detailed Reviews
Great hotel!! The rooms weren't really big, but 3, 17 year old girls had enough space. Also, I really loved the bathroom.
At the reception we had 2 computers, which we could use anytime for free. I appreciated this because other hotels make you pay to use the internet.
The hotel is situated in a nice area, near 2 subway stations. We had supermarkets only 2-3 min away from the hotel and a cheap grocery store just around the corner.
The breakfast was great!
I totally recommend this hotel. Enjoy your stay!!

I have just spent three nights at the Evenia Rocafort. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
I found the quality of the hotel to be very similar to that of many four star establishments in Barcelona, which I have previously stayed in.
The room was comfortable and very clean. The room allocated was overlooking an internal light-well, and was very quiet.
Breakfast was adequate, the usual continental selection of breads, pastries, fruit and yoghurt. There was also a small selection of hot food.
The location was ideal for visiting the fairgrounds and the Olympic village.
It was approximately 20 minuted walk to Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas.
I would highly recommend this hotel

Evenia Rocafort came recommended by friends, and they absolutely steered my wife and myself right. The moment we walked in the door we were warmly welcomed, and the young lady behind the counter was cordial and very helpful throughout our three night stay. The key positive thing about the hotel is its location.
It is close enough to transportation and tourist attractions and yet is in a quiet local neighborhood. Evenia Rocafort sits on a side street off Avinguda de Mistral: a pedestrian mall lined with small shops and cafes that runs for several blocks. On the weekend Mistral is the site of neighborhood activities. Most notably we bumped into a Catalan human castle building (Castells) event on the pedestrian street. Also on Mistral we saw a large outside lace making workshop. Placa d Espanya with its night fountain show (don’t miss) and Montjuic are a short walk away. Placa d Espanya is a key city transit site. City buses, subways, Aerobus (to and from airport), and tour buses all have stops at Placa d Espanya.
The hotel was well maintained and clean. There was free internet access in the lobby for hotel residents. Our room was of typical European hotel size, that is, a bit small by American standards, but it was just fine for us. The bathroom was surprisingly large with a very nice spacious tiled shower stall. Since the room had a small refrigerator we could purchase food items at the local market, and have them available for breakfast and snacking. We feel that the price we paid was very fair for a city of Barcelona’s size. We absolutely would stay at Evenia Rocafort again, and would recommend it to friends.

Very nice clean comfortable hotel. An easy walk to both of the Montjuic and Rambla areas and close to the metro line (Poble Sec line 3) that goes up La Rambla within 2-4 stops if you're lazy, and why not with a 4 day travel card only costing £10. The hotel itself is not in a tourist area with things such as mechanics' garages along the street, but this is a good thing as it means it's quiet at night - staying too close to La Rambla would be noisy. Also Barcelona suffers from a lot of petty crime and begging (watch your bag) and this hotel is away from that. My only criticism would be the time it takes to replenish items on the breakfast buffet, there's a good choice but once the fruit cake/melon/tea bags have gone its 20 minutes before more appear.

Positives
Evenia Rocafort Hotel is located very conveniently between 2 metro stations i.e. Rocafort and Poble Sec. The stations are at a stone's throw of 100 - 300 metres only. The hotel is also near Espanya - is a large station offering good connectivity. You can find many tourists taking the City Tour Hop on Hop Off buses from here. Many TAPAS bars and other restaurants located around Evenia Rocafort. The breakfast at Evenia Rocafort had a limited spread but was well priced. The restaurant staff was overall helpful. Being a boutique hotel there was no concierge - however the reception managers were helpful in arranging cabs and also suggesting sightseeing and dining options. 2 super markets were located in the adjoining building whereby you could items of daily use.
Negatives
The rooms were quite small. Also the room windows opened to the back duct. There was no change in the breakfast menu during the 5 days of my stay. No Tea/ Coffee kettle was provided in the room.No complimentary water bottles provided.

we stayed here for 4 nights, as part of a very busy sightseeing trip. The rooms, although a little on the small side, were comfortable, clear and well maintained. the bathroom was tidy, cleaned each day with plenty of hot water. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful, assisting us with pre booking tickets for attractions and directions. We did not eat at the hotel so can not pass judgement on the restaurant or the food.
the hotel is very well situated for most attractions and only a short walk from La Ramba and the harbour. The metro was also only a short walk away.

Evenia Rocafort is quite a well situated hotel, 3 minutes walking from Poble Sec metro station (which is, itself, 2 stations away from La Rambla). It is located in a rather peaceful and nice neighbourhood.
Rooms are not large, although I wouldn't call them small - they're rather average, with furniture that does not impress. Bathrooms are OK, though.
Good WI-FI is available for free.
Staff is very kind and helpful and let us store our baggage in our last day in BCN, after check-out.
We had one single complaint, as this was the only hotel which - up to now - could not help us with an iron for our clothes. They did have available ironing services (together with laundry), but they were quite expensive and, even more important, only available for the following day. I agree it may seem a minor issue, but for us it was pretty annoying.
Still, all in all, it is a decent hotel with a fair value for the price you pay.

Just stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is situated in the Montjuic sector of Barcelona. The hotel is situated in a quite street just off Avenue Para-lel. Beautifully clean and comfortable. The staff are really friendly and reception staff really helpful. Buffett style breakfast to suit all tastes. The nearest metro station 'Pobla Sec' is on Avenue Para-lel just two minutes walk away. This area of the city is fairly quite but there are lots of small bars on street corners. Several restaurants on Avenue Para-lel, banks and shops. It is far cheaper to drink in the local bars. All have pavement tables and chairs.

My dad stayed here when visiting me in Barcelona. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was a plus. But most of all the staff were kind knowledgable and helpful. They even called a cab for me early one morning because I had no phone, a week after my father checked out.

I would say that it was worth doing. There was a good selection of cereals, cold meats, cheese etc. Also scrambled eggs, bacon and chipolata sausages. Staff very helpful.
Hi
I do know the hotel does breakfast, continental with some hot options -however, this was an additional extra when we made our booking. I’m sure when you arrive at the hotel you will be able to clarify this.
If you don’t have breakfast included there’s a fab little coffee shop cafe just up the street, 5 mins away - turn left out of the hotel, stay left and it’s on the corner, yellow signage I think. There is one closer but I went with the hotels recommendation and found it easily and very affordable- good range of coffees, pastries, cake and sandwiches etc.
Hope that helps ;-)
Yes, if I remember rightly there is one opposite just before the corner - hope that helps.
About 40 mins - about € 20 in taxi.
Check out was 12, but they are happy for you to leave bags with them if needed.
We had late check in but pretty sure it is 2pm.
