A single room is small but well organized. I started searching for the hotel late so I can not say it is a budget hotel since I paid 500 euros for three nights including breakfast. So my advice would be to search for it earlier. Breakfast is decent, the rooms are very clean, and the staff is more than hospitable. The location is ok, you can not go on foot to the city center, but bus 59 is right in front of the hotel. all in all quite good experience.

I had checked in after mid-night and was placed in room on the first floor which turned out to be rather noisy and cramped. Upon calling the front desk in the morning, I received an apology and was assured that I would be moved to another room. Sure enough, I was moved to another floor and quiet room the next day. However it is the staff who make this place amazing, they are kind, considerate and follow up on every detail of your stay. True Barcelona hospitality :)

Beware of this hotel, we have used them many times in the past when staying in Barcelona, but the hotel now appears to have new owners.

Our frustration is that our party of four had two nights booked in September 2020, which the hotel cancelled because they were closed due to Covid19 lockdown.

Rather than accepting a refund, and to support the hotel industry in such difficult times, we asked the hotel to extend our reservation to September 2021.

Unfortunately our flights for this September have now been cancelled so we cannot visit Barcelona, and the hotel now refuses to extend our reservation until next year or refund us !

We think this is very poor practice and will be seeking legal advice.

Poor hotel - don’t book. Poor experience. Used this hotel many times pre Covid but now has new very unhelpful owners. They cancelled our booking due to Covid but wouldn’t change dates when they themselves were forced to close and offered no refund.

I was traveling with a friend and we had an amazing stay here! The room was beautiful, really comfy beds, working air-con and the staff were lovely and very helpful. Would recommend for anyone staying in Barcelona for a couple of days. It is also in a really pretty area so perfect for exploring the city!

i go to barcelona once or twice a year to watch the super RCD Espanyol play. i always stay here

yes, of course there are much better hotels in barcelona. but you pay for them. why do you want to spend all your time in a hotel when in barcelona?

its the prefect balance of quality and price. when off the plane, one stop to sans station from airport and a 10 min walk. there are other metros about within 10 mins but sans the best one

TIP: get a 10 journey metro card, head back to sans if you want ramblas area platform 4 of the station (not metro) get a train (most of them are from here) to station franco. usually next stop, the old main station in barcelona, located on the coast at bottom of ramblas. quicker than metro

you are also next to the diaganiol, the most vital road in barcelona. 10 mins walk from the nou camp if thats your thing. its quiet and a few great tapas bars around the corner

i rarely take the breakfast as there are better places in the street

Hotel has small rooms but functional it's a 10 min walk up hill from sants train station. Train station is at airport and it's 4 euro one way. The tourist bus ride is a must as soon as you get there. 52 euro for us two and get on and off as many time as u want. It was our first ever ride on a tourist bus and glad we done it. If u walk out of the hotel and turn left the tourist bus stop is approx 200 yards up top. We also done a lot of walking in Barca and be aware it's a fair walk to rambla which is fine if you fit enough.
So to sum up hotel it's fine for a short visit. The more able bodied the better.
Pollution was high in Barca so sufferers beware. Ricki

This hotel is rather inconveniently located. Everything around the hotel appears to be closed all day everyday and the staff for the most part isn't too knowledgeable about the city or the English language (which is fine as it is Spain). There was one day staff person that was helpful, however. The rooms are very small and you cannot open the door completely. When you ask the housekeeping staff not to clean the room, they tend to do it anyway. They simply ignore the do not disturb sign on the door. I would not recommend this hotel as there are hotels more conveniently located for the same price and more ammenities.

The hotel is alright for what it is. It's close to the shopping center, but about 20-45 mins away from tourist attractions and the beach. The shower was a little impractical - it was nearly impossible to take one without soaking the whole floor.

The Front Desk team and the rest of the staff is friendly and tries to be helpful when they can. However, the manager Anna was an incredibly frustrating person to deal with.

On their check out card it states that check out time is 12 am. We were confused as standard check out time is noon. We asked the front desk staff to clarify if there was some sort of misunderstanding but he confirmed 12 am as in midnight. With no where else to go the night before our flight we had no choice but to book last minute accommodations at a hostel for the night.

This trip was booked through our travel agent, and I reached out to her just in case she was unaware about this oddity. To my surprise, she emailed me back saying she had spoken to the front desk, and they confirmed checkout as noon!

We spoke with the same front desk staff member from before, where he apologized for the mistake but offered nothing to help us other than a complimentary breakfast but only after we became insistent. We asked to speak to the manger who wasn't in to the next morning around 10 am.

Speaking with the manger Anna had to be the most frustrating experience of my life. Though my ability to speak Spanish is limited, I understand it quite well. We explained the situation to her, but I could tell from her tone that she was going to be of little help. She refused to accept any responsibility and implied that it was our fault for not understanding 12 AM in Spain is different than 12 AM in Canada. Even the hostel confirmed that what they have printed on their check out card is incorrect! We received a temporary resolution provided by the hostel NOT the hotel. If they could sell the beds, they wouldn't charge us for the night. Anna told us she and the staff would continually check in with the hostel to see if it had been booked, but when we returned at 10 pm that day there was no update for us.

The next morning, we had to check out. We asked the concierge if there was any new updates, but there was nothing. Only after we asked, did he call the hostel who confirmed that they would be charging us 64.00 EUR. We asked what is going to be done for us, and he offered nothing. We asked him to call Anna as she was not in, and she offered nothing. Arguments back and forth were clearly going no where. The poor staff member told us they would offer to pay for something else, I asked them to pay for the taxi to the airport as this would cost about 30 EUR, and instead they offered to pay for the train which cost 8.00 EUR. Pressed for time, we no choice but to call a taxi ourselves. We asked for the number of any supervisor we could speak to, but they refused to provide one for us.

We were only in Barcelona for 3 days, but this definitely soured our experience and our mood, and because of that would not recommend this place or any of its chains to any friends/family in the future.

Hi, I do not know taxi fare from airport, I got in after midnight, I took the airport bus to Espanya as this was the best stop for the hotel took a taxi from there to hotel 7 euros.(and that was after midnight. but if you get in before midnight get a 10 journey travel card use it to get to SANTS railway station and get a taxi or bus to hotel which is about 20 Mins walking on Joseph Tarredella you may now want to walk wiih luggage so taxi costa afew euros or bus use a ticket which you have already paid for. bus & train travel is by far the cheapest taxi's can be an expensive way to travel and they know you are a tourist. Good Luck.
