Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The hotel it's just few minutes walking far away from the train station of "Barcelona Sants" There is also an underground stop in front of the entrance. Large and clean room with private bathroom and small fridge. The bed was very comfy, i had a very good night. The street under our room it was a little noisy in the early morning, I suggest to change the glazing to increase the comfort. The sink it was a bit blocked. The staff it's welcoming and professional. Good value for money.

Beginning of this week I stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Nice, cozy hotel with a great and friendly staff. You have direct metro line L9 (orange) from airport T1 to the last station Zona Universitaria and approximately 1 km walk to the hotel. Location is nice with the Cervantes Park close to the hotel. Walking distance to La Rambla is around one and half hour. Breakfast is tasty with the corner of Catalonian specialties. Rooms are clean and big enough. There are two nice restaurants for a lunch or dinner with friends. Sauna place need some renovation with an addition place to rest (lay down).

Nice hotel with a very good buffet breakfast. Room amenities include the usual shampoo and soap. Only thing is they are really stingy about facial tissue and you are only given a limited amount. With Spanish hotels this seem to be the norm. Some hotels don’t even supply it!
Location is ok and there are supermarkets nearby and some small eateries and cafe. Taxi is easily flagged down and is about 10 euro to the gothic quarter old town.
Don’t expect coffee making facilities or kettle with most European hotels so bring your own if you really need it. Power adapters can be either the round 2 pin( type f) or the smaller type round 2 pin ( type c). Good WiFi in the hotel

Exhausted from the long day, we checked into the hotel Abba Sants Hotel, Numancia 32, included in our upcoming cruise. I had checked the location on the map and called to ask if they were accessible to any tourist locations because it seemed so out of the way. They assured me it was fine. Not. It is closer to the cruise ships and ugly metro station, not charming and not touristy at all. We were soon to find out that the room was very dirty, there were loud street noises and the breakfast was the worst food so far in Spain, and sadly our last.

We stayed here with a tour group. It wouldn’t be my first choice, since it’s not exactly central to tourist activities, and I prefer to stay at a more central location. That said, it’s right next to a metro stop so it’s easy enough to get where you need to go. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good, though I would not recommend them for lunch or dinner (we had two issues with over- and under-cooked food for many in our group). The staff was fairly helpful though!

This is the 4th time I’ve been to Barcelona and the 3rd staying in Sants but this is the worst hotel I have stayed. All looked great on arrival and staff greeted but they failed to mention anything about the city Tax, as this was not charged on my previous visits!! We travelled as a newly wed couple for my wife’s birthday but on entering the room, we were presented with twin beds, but on raising this the arrogant young male receptionist, I was greeted with “look at your voucher”. There was no kettle in the room, and informed if we required hot water, milk and cups then we can obtain these from he bar at no cost, but charged £2 for a small amount of milk. The room overlooked a dog walking area! Checking out this morning the agsin young male receptionist informed us about the city tax and when we challenged this he again gloated by saying “see your holiday voucher” which at £35 was a bit of a shock, to make things a bit more confusing an American couple checked out the same time yet did not get charged a city tax !! Definitely would not recommend this hotel if going there stay at the Cosmo apartments

My friend and I stayed at the Abba Sants for 1 night prior to our cruise. We found the hotel to be generally good. The reception desk was efficient and friendly. We had a nice room. The bed was really comfy. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from Barcelona Sants station which was great for us with all our luggage. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but walked just 2 mins up the road to a small cafe, the area felt quite safe although we did get approached by beggars twice whilst sat at the cafe. A quick no and they were on their way! My only criticism is the cost of the drinks in the mini-bar! But overall, I liked the hotel so much I have booked to go come back in March next year.

We arrived in Barcelona and this was our first stop for one night before heading to Madrid. The front desk staff was welcoming and actually went out of their way to let us check in early, which, being a seasoned traveler I know this is rarely allowed. We were exhausted and thankful we were able to have a room by noon. THe room was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable. There was a lot of noise in the hallways. The washroom had a very strong odor that lingered in the room. Breakfast was good with a good variety. The location is walking distance to the train station, very convenient. Overall I would say this is more a 3 star hotel.

Good hotel with a fantastic location. Front office people were very helpful in giving us an early check in. Room had all the luxury amenities. Also they provided us with an electric kettle on request. Though we had not booked our breakfast but they provided the same at a discount.

Breakfast was the most positive part, but the room itself had some "old and dirty" parts (lamp, floor). Staff was ok, and location is good. It's ok if you get a good price, otherwise, just quite ok for a night or two.

Hi it’s about 15 to 20 minutes in a taxi hotel staff did get us a taxi we arrived at Barcelona by train you can walk from train station to hotel about 10 minutes away. There are a few bars and restaurants near hotel and you can leave your cases if room isn’t ready near metro station as well
