In my opinion, this hotel falls short of the standards expected from a 4-star establishment. Firstly, the rooms lack basic amenities that are typically found in 4-star hotels, such as a coffee maker, kettle, or even a glass for drinking water. You have to request these items from the hotel staff. Unfortunately, the service at the breakfast buffet leaves something to be desired. While not all the staff members are unfriendly, many seem disinterested, often only asking for your room number. The quality and variety of the breakfast offerings are subpar, and you have to constantly request replacements for items that have run out. Frequently, fruits from previous days are used, and the fruit juice quality is lacking. We were only able to enjoy decent fruit juice on the first day of our stay.
The windows in the room do not provide good sound insulation, and even though our room wasn't facing the street, we were disturbed by noise because the hotel restaurant stayed open until midnight, and there were often homeless people outside the hotel. Regrettably, this prevented us from getting a comfortable and restful sleep.
Among the positive aspects of the hotel, the only noteworthy point is its convenient location, which eliminates the need for public transportation. The reception staff, especially the gentleman who checked us in, were very courteous. Additionally, the room was kept very clean and tidy.

Let me say that all of our rooms are provided with a fridge and glasses, and if you need a kettle, it's available in the front desk. We don't put it on the room to give you more space for your belongings. The hotel staff was very attentive and kind. They made sure we had all the things we needed and also were able to answer any questions we had regarding sights or recommendations. Glady’s who was the receptionist was considerate with our unfortunate situation regarding our plans being changed and she was able to work with us so that we wouldn’t be nervous or anxious. The hotel itself is really beautiful. In terms of transportation it is about 12 euros to get a taxi to really anywhere from that location from the FREENOW taxi app. The rooms were modern and spacious with streaming services on the tv. Definitely would stay again

We arrived at the hotel after a very bad experience with Alamo car rental. The front desk person Giselle was simply amazing. She put us in a nice room and recommended 2 restaurants which we ended up going to both and they were excellent. We decided to do a side trip to San Sebastián and she gave us some helpful advice and held our luggage without charge while we took this side overnight excursion. The hotel itself is clean with good housekeeping and is convenient to the Sants train station. The rooms are good sized and the bathrooms are large with good counter space. There is a supermarket right across from the hotel and also a very nice cafeteria/restaurant which opens up at 7 am not to mention a restaurant/pizzeria right in the hotel. We arrived for a long weekend break booked through Easyjet Holidays. Very pleasant staff but when we asked what time breakfast was we were met with a look of surprise and told the restaurant was being renovated. After saying we had paid for it we were offered a voucher to go somewhere up the road. The room was very tired. The ironing room was always locked even after asking and the first floor seating area was closed off. We did have a fridge with two small bottles of water on arrival. After that there was nothing. No kettle or drink making facilities at all anywhere in the hotel. We should have been advised by either Easyjet or the hotel that there were eating or drinking facilities as advertised and offered another hotel. No excuse for such bad service. I would not normally leave a negative review but this really was unacceptable.

Booked City47 for a few days as an extension to a work trip.
The upshot is it's a lovely hotel and we'd probably stay there again. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good and quite varied.
We had a room that was connected to the room next door. One evening when some new occupants with zero self-awareness arrived at 00.30, reception were quick to react and quell the noise.
Location-wise it's great; far enough from the centre to be peaceful at night, but close enough to allow easy access via metro to all the sights.
If you're in BCN to party then you might disagree about the location, but for us it was perfect.
Two main negatives: 1) WiFi in the room wasn't amazing and dropped out frequently. 2) The temperature regulation on our shower was appalling. I lost count of the number of times I was happily showering, only then to almost have my skin stripped off by near-boiling water.
It was actually quite dangerous and I got really fed up with it. We reported it to reception but, being British, had left it too late before making a fuss and we were due to leave before the issue could be addressed.
The chap on reception was very apologetic and stated that the fault had been logged but, having scalded most parts of my body, I should perhaps have pressed for some form of compensation.
The torturous shower notwithstanding, City47 is a nice place to stay with some great restaurants in the area and excellent links to the rest of Barcelona.

Good and clean bed. Room was very tiny though, no natural light with the single window so felt it was overpriced, felt a bit trapped when entering. Nice bathroom. The breakfast was not 4 star worthy in my opinion, maybe a 2-3 star. In the bread sections there were only baguettes and toast bread. Customer service was a bit mixed for me. No asking if I enjoyed the stay or if everything has been OK in the Check-out. Very helpful service when asking about direction and other things. Location of this hotel is perfect, central to transport services.

We were impressed with this unique hotel. It is impeccable. Rooms are quiet as well as sleek and modern. We loved the elegant decor in the lobby, and from there you walk directly into a quaint little restaurant/bar with a lot of healthy options. We loved that when you step out of the hotel or from the restaurant/bar, you're in a quiet, shady park. Also, the restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating under the park trees. Staff was excellent both in the hotel and the restaurant. The hotel is near the main train station and to get to the touristy action, you take a brief walk (10 minutes) to the subway and you're only a few stops away from it all (there are a few shops nearby to stock up on your way to the subway). We scored a good price, too! We wished we could have stayed longer!!

This is an extremely well-run, clean, quiet and comfortable hotel about a 5 minute walk from the Barcelona Sants railway station. The rooms was of course small, but the bed was very comfortable and the room well set up. My only caveat is that while it lists having an exercise room, it is extremely basis [just three fairly rickety cardio machines], so if that is important to you, I'd suggest going someplace else. Otherwise, this is really an excellent place to stay in Barcelona.

This was a little Gem of a find! The Hotel is located out of the centre but easy to locate and a 5 minute walk from the train station and metro line so very easy for travelling into the city.
It was very clean with friendly staff and a lovely little restaurant that served delicious tapas.
We booked a small double which was on the smaller side but ideal if staying for a couple of nights like us. The Bathroom was lovely and roomy and really clean.
The beds were comfortable and we had a decent nights sleep.
