Let’s start with the good:
The rooms are clean, big, and well maintained. The breakfast is cheaper if you book the day before, so make sure you do that. There’s plenty there but much cheaper to eat out. And that’s where the good stops for us.
The bad:
Okay, we booked a basic room, so we weren’t expecting the views. We were given a courtyard view, which was fine. However, we were unaware that the hotel would allow children from a party the hotel was hosting to roam around screaming. We came back to the hotel one afternoon to have a rest after all the walking, and were unable to rest due to the amount of noise as you can hear everything.
There is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which is absolutely shocking for a four star hotel! We’ve stayed at two star hotels that offer this as basic and standard facilities. Having read some of the hotel replies to other guests, I was shocked to see that there are tea/coffee making facilities if you paid for more expensive rooms!!!! How they think that this is acceptable is outrageous, especially as you’re already paying a high price for basic rooms, and again it’s meant to be a four star hotel! I would not expect to pay extra to be able to make myself a hot drink in my room. In our opinion, this was the worst thing and most shocking thing about this hotel. Management really need to rethink charging their guests extra to be able to have this basic facility in rooms.
The roof top bar was closed and the pool was closed (again after reading hotel replies on here to other guests, apparently it’s all seasonal, which we were not told on arrival nor when we booked the hotel). It’s such a shame as we had high hopes for our stay here.

This hotel is in a great position being just a 10 minute walk into the old town and cathedral Mesquita.
However when we checked in we were told very clearly breakfast was included.Imagine our surprise and embarrassment when our plates already had food on them to be chased down In the middle of the buffet to be told by the waitress that we had to pay 18 euros per person. The waitress came again to the table and asked us to sign for the extra money. This was rectified the next day at checkout and we were not charged, however it did mean we didn't eat in the restaurant the next morning and actually found a really delicious place to have breakfast in town at half the price .
The rooms were very clean and spacious my only complaint was the lack of tea and coffee facilities and it would be nice to have hair conditioner provided.
It's a functional hotel, in a great location but lacks a bit of character.

We wanted a hotel within walking distance of the beautiful City of Cordoba and the Hesperia was perfect! On check in the Receptionist gave us lots of information about the City including a map. Our room was on the 2nd floor with amazing views over the bridge and city - particularly beautiful when illuminated at night. The room was comfortably furnished with a large bed and a fridge. Breakfast was extremely well organised with so much choice and staff regularly topping up every area with fresh supplies. There is a roof top bar open during the evenings which is great for enjoying the surrounding views. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay and would recommend the hotel's location and great customer focus to anyone looking for easy walking access to the City.

The Hesperia is a four-star hotel with some rough edges, little places that need modernizing/renovating. It's also very well-located and easy to access, without having to drive down streets barely wide enough for a compact car. We'd stay here again, though we probably wouldn't pay for a view room again. The view is nice, particularly at night, but you can't look at the view while out to dinner or sleeping!

We spent one night at this well located and appointed hotel along the waterfront and near the Roman Bridge and within 15 minute walk to the mesquita/cathedral and other sites. Street parking was non existent so we parking in the hotel's undeground lot. The large bedroom was quiet with good wifi, fridge, luggage rack, safe, closet, very comfortable bed, desk, desk and easy chairs, excellent water pressure and hot water, and plenty of wall outlets. The hotel is large enough to cater to tour groups. Reception was very friendly and helpful. (Provided city maps, for example.) There are bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. We would stay here again and recommend its location since negotiiating Cordoba streets would be quite difficult.

A fantastic location for visiting Cordoba. We arrived by car and they have a very good underground car park which costs 15.50 euros a day.
Reception staff were lovely and our 3rd floor room had amazing wide sweeping views of the mesquita and city.
Very clean and roomy. A terrific breakfast and the addition of roof top pool and bar with views was also a treat.

With the view from the city view rooms being excellent you can forgive this hotel for any shortcomings. And there were a few. A four start hotel with no evening bar, at least not one open after 10.00 pm which would have been great for city views at night. Reception that answers the phone while dealing with you at check in, one of my pet annoyances. Strangely the restaurant if you choose to eat here was not on the top floor with a night view of the city but on the first floor with no view. So it was just as well we had a great view from our room day or night and able to open the window. Otherwise it was perfectly fine. A normal full buffet breakfast even in these Covid days. Good room size, wifi, a/c, fridge, tea and coffee machine, super king bed all perfectly clean. And the rooftop pool was great for relaxing after sightseeing., small but with sufficient sunbeds.
Hotel parking is available but actually there is plenty of on street parking for free at the rear of the hotel.

Clean, comfortable, city hotel on the banks of the Guadalquvir river, with an easy 10 minute stroll over the Roman bridge to all the interesting parts of old town Cordoba.
Very helpful reception staff.
We had a very quiet and comfortable, well appointed, double room.
The main reason I chose this hotel was for the parking.
I know from experience that trying to drive and park anywhere in the Juderia area on the opposite side of the river is a nightmare, particularly in a big car.
All that can be easily avoided by staying at this hotel.
There is free on street parking all around the hotel. I got a space just 20 yards from the hotel door. Additionally, to the side of the hotel, is an area of spare land which is also free parking.
The hotel has its own secure basement garage, for which they charge, if secure parking is a must.
All in all, this was good value given the location and parking.

Why stay in the heart of the City when you can look at it from this wonderful hotel.
Fantastic location, approximately 200 metres from the Roman bridge, Hesperia Cordoba offers fantastic views over the Mezquita and Alcázar (particularly at sunset) and is literally a 5 minute walk away.
The hotel itself is clean, classy and tastefully furnished throughout.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, whilst the staff were courteous, and helpful, offering advice on what to see and where to eat and drink.
The hotel has an excellent rooftop sunbathing area and a very nice rooftop pool - perfect for cooling off after a hard day’s exploring of this wonderful city.
There is also a very welcoming cocktail bar.
If you stay, I highly recommend breakfast which was plentiful, with a wide range of hot and cold foods, including an omelette bar.
We had a wonderful four days and should we return to Cordoba, we would look no further than Hesperia!

This hotel is less than 5 minutes from Roman Bridge in a quiet area.
Hotel is modern- staff efficient.
We got parking behind the hotel on the street.
Access from the motorway was quick and reasonably easy.
Good service of baggage storage.
Breakfast we felt was costly so we declined but you could eat locally.
Impressive pool and roof top area but weather not suitable to enjoy these.
We will definitely return.
