Coming off the crazy La Rambla, this hotel is so cool and chilled out. Great gym facilities and beautiful pool in a cave lot by candles. Rooftop is great for views over the city and good value lunch. Breakfast is sooooo expensive but just go to the beaut little restaurant next door which is less than half the price. Overall this is a stunning hotel and I want to come back.

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and it was heaven! The rooms were a good size(we were floor 2) very clean, lovely toiletries, chocolates by the bed.
We didn't hear any noise from las ramblas but did hear people walking past our room in the morning on the marble floor-could do with carpet in all hallways.the swimming pool, sauna and steam room were lovely. Gym is quite small but we didn't find it at all busy. Breakfast was included in our deal and there was a great choice from cooked to continental breakfast. The most perfect thing about this hotel is the roof terrace- it has a heated outdoor pool and a lovely area to sunbathe and have drinks- comfy sofas and cocktails- perfect! The hotel is right in the middle of las ramblas and therefore perfect for all tourist attractions.
I would highly recommend this hotel- we would definitely stay again!

Nice roof bar and pool. Smart rooms. Very good service. Lovely cocktails. Eating out is probably best as there is so much close by, but there is nothing wrong with what's available at hotel. It was a business trip but I'd happily stay for a short relaxing break.

It was my fourth time in Barcelona and we stayed here for five night end of April. Based on previous reviews my expectations was really high and I was not disappointed! Great ambience, nice staff, amazing (and huge) roof top terasse with pool, nice indoor pool and nicely decorated rooms. Also, the location of course.....if you are a tourist - it's a good location on the rambla near the subway and the old town.
The only drawbacks was that the spa didn't seem to live up to the rest of the hotel standard when it comes to administration. We tried to book a massage three days ahead and they claimed to be fully booked?! Really weird! We had a standard room and the view from the window wasn't all that but I don't think anybody spend to much time in their room anyway. It would have given the room some natural light though, it was a bit on the dark side. Also the gym was pretty small, but I repeat - I don't think anybody spend too much time here either.
The breakfast was expensive, as always, but good. It was not included in our room rate though so we preferred to go to the café/bar next door instead.
Anyway, next time I would go back to this hotel - but I would book a superior room - perhaps not for the view but for the light!

Room Tip: Standard room has no view and on the lower floors they are a bit dark.

Sadly, the pools and sauna were closed due to the drought. I think this was for the whole of Catalunya when we were there mid-February.

The spa pool and the roof top pool are free for you to use when you are a guest :-)

Dear Sirs;
Spa area includes the gym, interior pool and and massgae cabines. This is the area that we have not available for using.
During this time you can use the outdoor swimming pool with heated water at the roof top seven floor from 9.00h am to 18:00h pm, and we provide massages in a particular room (payment services on request)
