My boyfriend and I stayed here for a quick two nights in Barcelona. The room was clean (I will note that the bathtub was a little dirty, but my OCD meter didn't go off or anything so it was totally fine), the free water and apples were key after a long day of walking around the city, and the neighbors were quiet. Honestly, I couldn't tell how many people were on our floor because I couldn't hear them. The beds were super comfortable. I came into Barcelona feeling a little ill, and recovering in the clean, quiet, comfortable room was clutch. The neighborhood is GORGEOUS. The hotel is in the perfect location to really feel like you're in Barcelona and experiencing an authentic atmosphere. I'd additionally like to note that the concierge, Cesar, was exceedingly kind to us. He mapped out a wonderful walking route for our first day in Barcelona and made the check-in process easy and painless. After an exhaustive day of traveling, I really appreciated his hospitality. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat.

Don't really want to tell everyone about this absolute gem, would rather keep it to myself!! 😊👍🏼
However it really is FANTASTIC! Met by the best concierge ever - thank you Caesar for all your help, advice on where to go and how to get there! 😘
Downtown Barcelona is a joy but the local area to here is equally good and much kinder to the pocket than the city centre's touristic zone. We came back here every evening to eat locally and we also breakfasted locally too. Places to try Bopan Patisserie, Sibarit's tapas bar and Casa Varela, (chicken wings to die for!!) Gracia is a great place to visit for truly Catalonian cuisine and atmosphere.
The hotel is funky and modern, displaying lovely art features but still welcoming, (not pretentious!) and our room was huge! Not what we expected for a city centre hotel in a capital city. The bathroom equally spacious with shower over bath, yummy toiletries and little notes posted to say if they hadn't provided it, and we needed anything, just to ask. Nothing was too much trouble.
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room but there was a minibar and fridge and better still the best coffee maker (I mean real coffee) in reception and all free. No problem to take up to your room whenever you wanted, so not a problem. I would definitely recommend this fabulous hotel for anyone coming to Barcelona. Thank you Pol and Grace and especial thanks to Caesar for looking after us so well xxx

Dear Sara C, What a pleasure reading yours comments! This is exactly what we want you to experience and above all to surprise you at all times so that this experience. When we have friends,we want them to make it easy, so we take care of everything! With our Friends we share our places, our passions, our habits so they can live the real city, far from the beaten tourist trails. Also if one of us discovers a new place we share it also. Each of us has his personality and his taste but the same love to share, which makes us unique! Caesar or Cezar is the best example, it´s a very good Friend in all the words! I gonna personnally congratulate him fir his great job! Our neighborhood for this is absolutely perfect: nice restaurants, small shops and next to everything with the metro at 1 minute. Casa Verla and Sibartis are our best recommandations. It is true that we take care of our rooms, first of all by the cleanliness and then by the decoration which is in the image of our Love for our City. Surprises and presents are part of the Experience, we have always a lot of good ideas! We want our lobby like a place where people are meeting and share experience or just relax with a good book from our library. That´s the reason we offer this free coffee/tea area. All the Team hopes to see you again and continue to share such precious moments. Big sunny Hugs from your Friends. Julian with mucho Love. Hospitality Manager.

We arrived in the Garcia District and were delighted with this gem of a hotel in the location. The staff are second to none . Offering an upgrade on arrival and having the best concierge abilities available! We knew what we wanted and they knew how to provide it, perfect marriage of talent! The room was beautiful, the right amenities. The location is ideal, steps away from the. L-7 metro. Definitely would return!

Dear jorbid65, It was a pleasure helping and taking care of you. Thanks for your gem comments: it´s exactly what we want you to feel home with Friends! Always attentive and ready to advise you to discover the real Barcelona with its secret little nooks. That´s the reason we´ve create this blackboard in the entrance. Our neighborhood for this is ideal and next to the Gracia district, which is our favorite, small paradise still preserved to live the real city. We are at one minute from all the transports. T10 is perfect to travel into the town, that´s the one we use for us. Hoping to see you soon at home and make you discover new places and new rooms, each are different but with the same spirit. Big sunny Hugs from your Friends. Julian with Love. Hospitality Manager.

Stayed here for two nights after making a last-minute reservation. There wasn't a lot of availability at affordable and somewhat highly rated hotels. This place was OK, but not great. Nothing fancy. Nothing extraordinary. The price matched my budget, and because of that, I figured it is what it is.

The staff was friendly. The lobby is minimal, and so are the rooms. My rooms wasn't spotlessly clean as some of the other reviews said, but it wasn't so gross that I couldn't wait to leave in the mornings (I actually slept in on my first morning there). The bathroom definitely showed signs of a lot of wear and was small (as most European bathrooms are). The towels are of nice quality.

Our room was crazy hot, and we couldn't cool it down because the air conditioning had been turned off for the season. I woke up twice out of my sleep because I was burning up. Cracking the window helped, but there was definitely some street noise that we could easily hear from our third-floor room.

The walls (or the floors?) are thin. I don't know where it was coming from, but we had super loud neighbors on our first night.

The location is nice. Close to a train station and is only three stops from la Ramblas. The neighborhood felt safe, but note that I didn't walk around at night, so I can't speak to how safe that feels.

This is a small hotel, so there isn't a concierge. Some staffers were more knowledgeable than others, but they seemed nice.

There's one elevator. Seven floors.

I appreciated the water made available each day.
