Experience was amazing .
Modern look, clean room, staff was always nice and helpful.
We did not use the pool, because it was November, but even so, it was clean and if you were up for it you could take a swim.
Food was of good quality and at breakfast you had a wide variety of products. Personally because I was on vacation, I had wine and Cava in the morning so that was super nice. The orange juice and smoothies are amazing as well.
The hotel has some organised activities depending on when you get there and we had some helpful suggestions to pick places to eat and visit at the front desk.
The hotel is 2 blocks away from Sagrada Familia and from our room we had a great view of it.
We didn't use room service so I can't appreciate the service but the staff was always helpful. All of them.
The room was big enough even though Barcelona is known to have small rooms for accommodation.
P.S. We would like to thank Cristina for taking the time to help us out with everything and for making sure we had a great stay.

We stayed at Hotel Barcelona 1882 for a weekend in May 2019 and had an amazing experience. The hotel is clean and gorgeous (from the restaurant to the rooftop), the food is yummy, and the location is a five-minute walk from Sagrada Familia. All the taxis we took during the weekend knew exactly where the property was, which was comforting given that apps like Uber aren't available. There are convenience stores with drugstore goods, snacks, wine, etc. on the block. And we found the staff very helpful with everything from early check-in to room service to restaurant recommendations—plus they're all multi-lingual. As far as extras/perks go, we missed the guided walking tour on Saturday and the complimentary wine and cheese tasting, which they offer daily. Still, coming from New York City where comparable hotels cost an arm and a leg, we just couldn't get over the value of this hotel. For roughly $200USD a night, this experience was nothing short of incredible.

What I liked most about the hotel :The hotel has an excellent location,
The staff are educated and are always willing to help.
Room service is very good. Rooms, bathrooms, corridors, the hall near the reception and all areas are always clean.Infrastructure the rooms have conserved furniture and there is good appearance in the painting of the walls.The room is suitable size the beds are comfortable.Diverse breakfast .Free wi-fi and good quality

Service is no longer cordial, the hotel only put 2 towels for 3 guests every day and having to request it was complicated. TV was not set up and not fixed. Room service is expensive and bad. The hotel is new, in an excellent location and the room is a good size.

We really enjoyed this stylish hotel. We stayed as a family and we were delighted that the room was extremely spacious and well laid out so we never felt cramped. There was also good storage. The beds were comfortable - including the spare bed which was a pleasant surprise as many top hotels we have stayed in have only had uncomfortable sofa beds for children. Nice toiletries and although the shower wasn’t particularly powerful it was fine.
The staff are really helpful. While at reception I was impressed by the number of languages they were speaking. It was also spotless and the cleaning staff were so lovely when my little boy has been unwell with a vomiting bug. Said bug meant that for one day of our stay we couldn’t go far. As the hotel has such a nice roof terrace to relax on a sunny day this wasn’t as bad as it might have been. We hadn’t planned to have hotel breakfast or eat in the restaurant but did this so we could be close and both were surprisingly good. Breakfast was good value with quality ingredients. Delicious orange juice and good selection of items served in a beautiful space. It would have been nice to have had room service when we got off a late flight but this was a minor point overall given the quality of the environment at this hotel.
