The boat is well equipped, spacious, and well maintained. The scenery is fantastic, and the sunset is stunning on the way back. - Abraham F2 contributionsI highly recommend this tour! The trip ran extremely smooth and gave us plenty of time at each location. We were picked up from our hotel in Patong beach at 5am and from there were taken to the pool club where we took a boat to maya bay. The sunrise during the boat ride was beautiful and one of the reasons why it was worth it to wake up so early for this tour. The bay was almost empty since we got there early, which allowed us to enjoy it even more. We had plenty of time to relax and take pictures before we moved on to two different snorkeling locations with amazing coral and fish. Finally, we ended the trip with a stop at a beach to just relax. The crew took care of everything we needed and offered us food and drinks. - Pete J1 contributionI probably should not have signed up, as I am 70 years old. We had several young men in our group, which resulted in very high speeds. There was nothing leisurely about the trip. The guides were great. My wife speaks Thai and she did not complain. I would have preferred to travel at a slower pace. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel completely at ease with their friendly and professional approach. The pre-dive briefing was thorough yet simple, ensuring I understood all the essential safety protocols and dive techniques.
Once in the water, the instructors were incredibly patient and attentive, guiding me every step of the way. Their expertise and calming presence made me feel safe and confident throughout the dive. The underwater world they introduced me to was breathtaking—vibrant coral reefs teeming with colorful fish, and even a few unexpected encounters with a school of barracuda guppies.
The equipment provided was top-notch, and their commitment to safety and conservation was evident. For anyone considering diving for the first time, I can't recommend Seafarer Divers Phuket highly enough. They even served us Indian food for lunch, which was wholesome. Obviously since there’s so much demand, their tours are relatively cheap, but we were still glad to be taken care of for the hole day and see their beautiful nature. - Grant S1 contributionWhat a great experience, cooking Thai with the lovely team at VJ’s. The market visit was very informative and a great introduction to the wonderful fresh produce available. The cooking class was great fun and with their expert guidance we were able to produce some really tasty dishes. We even asked for advice on another Thai favourite and they kindly e mailed the recipe and instructions. Visited the most beautiful places and got to see a lot of nice fish during our snorkelling hour. Food and drink service was excellent, so was the lunch at Phi Phi Don. Our daughter loved it. - Gaynor C21 contributionsHad Oliver as my instructor along with 2 other solo travellers. He was amazing, very supportive and full of information as well as a genuinely nice guy.
He absolutely made the experience more enjoyable as I had never so much as snorkelled before and so he allowed us to practice snorkelling before our dives which was hugely beneficial to myself and I’m so glad we had the time to do that.
Pointed out plenty of fish, took videos and was very kind when I had sea sickness.
