    Highly recommended Cordoba tour
The tour was marvellous. The tour company “Oway” are very organised, helpful and punctual. I can say honestly say that this is all what you want to do and see in Cordoba in 3 hours visiting all the touristic areas in a very comfortable pace and the price is very reasonable. The tour guide “Askara” was amazing. She is very knowledgeable, organised and funny. She gave us a brief introduction about each place before we enter it then detailed explanations of each area during the visit. She was very professional and pleasant and answered all the questions from the group. She was also very thoughtful and made sure that we stayed in shaded areas during her explanations because it was very hot and sunny. The city itself is very cosy and clean. The touristic area is well maintained and organised. I really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it to anyone going to Cordoba.

Very detailed tour … we loved the gardens, Mosque and Cathedral…breathtaking.
A lot of history is shared. The gardens were AMAZING. So is the Mosque and Cathedral. Very detailed tour … we had one guide for the first half and a second guide for the last. Used audio guides which worked well.

    Lovely city with many attractions
We got our own tickets but all areas are well worth seeing. The Mosque Cathedral is outstanding example of Muslim and Catholic religions working together . The courtyards we saw were so very pretty. Cordoba although quiet in the day we visited is a lovely city.Dont forget the Roman Bridge

OWAY is excellent for Cordoba's Jewish Quarter and Mosque-Cathderal tour
We have 2 strong accolades for OWAY tour. First, I accidentally booked on the wrong date. When I didn't show, the company contacted me (2 months before being in Spain) and worked with me to rebook. They did not charge me, the simply rebooked and sent me the new reservation. I was profoundly grateful. As for the tour, Joaquin was excellent! He was informative and engaging. We did the Jewish Quarter and the Mosque-Cathedral. We're jewish and we found him to be very knowledgable about jewish customs so we felt reallyl confident in the history he shared. Also, the Mosque-Cathedral was absolutely astonishing and he made the time in their very interesting. We went to Cordoba as a day trip from Seville for this tour. It was absolutely worthwhile and OWAY was a great tour company.

    Anti-semitic white-washing of the past.
Let's call this what it was: An antisemitic re-telling of the past. We took this tour with Samuel two weeks ago in Cordoba. We were so excited to learn about all 3 major cultures in Cordoba's prime. We were taken to the famous statue of Maimonides, where Samuel explained to us that after living in Cordoba Maimonides decided to "self-exile" himself to Egypt. WHAT? Maimonides, along with the rest of the Jewish community were offered conversion, death, or exile. Does this sound like a choice to anyone? It's a dangerous white-washing of history to position the persecution of Jews as a choice. When I spoke up and told Samuel this was an offensive and dangerous term (and a paradox on its face) he argued with me, that I should be open to "another idea" about what happened. "Another idea" that retells persecution as just a life choice, really. Alternative facts, much? We were also told that Maimonides, due to his crazy ideas, was known as the "Demon of Cordoba" at the time. We all looked at each other like, what?? A scholar and intellectual without any power was somehow known widely as a demon? Some quick googling after shows that the man known as the "Demon of Cordoba" was in fact Al-Hakam II, Caliph of Córdoba from 961 to 976 who was known for his ruthlessness with his enemies. I guess it's somehow easy to mistake the Jew for the demon? But that's not all folks! We were shown a small inscription in the concrete that intermingles two Hebrew words, 'Spain' and 'Remember' and told this is symbol that the Jews used that sort of looks like a map. I told Sam that this actually Hebrew writing of two words (I read Hebrew fluently) -- no, no, he argued with me (?) - it's a symbol! Okay. Got the picture. Jewish history is what you say it is and there's no openness to contending with facts or the distortion of the story you are telling. Let's call this by its name shall we? An antisemitic tour.

    Great Experience
My wife and I took this tour on our trip to Córdoba and would highly recommend. The company provided an easily located meeting location that was right next to an air conditioned restaurant and facility with large clean restrooms, both were essential as Córdoba is generally very warm. Our guide, Jose, was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Some general advice regarding the tour, as mentioned Córdoba can be very warm, the day we were there it was 97 F, so plan accordingly, sunscreen and hydration are essential. There are limited opportunities to purchase water along the route and we would recommend packing your own. While the overall walking distance is not great, and generally flat, the path can be a little challenging, specifically in the Jewish quarter.

Engaging fun tour with local guide Ruth
We did a walking tour of the old town. Our guide Ruth was so wonderful! Her pride and love for her city was so genuine, it really made the tour. Her stories were personalized in very encouraging way. Not a boring recitation of historical dates!!!! A lovely sense of humor. Thank you Ruth!!!!

Great sites but marred by poor electronics
The sites included in the full tour are all exceptionally interesting and beautiful. The tour guide, Azahara, was extremely knowledgeable and patient. HOWEVER, the tour was marred by poor electronics. The mic and receivers and cheap earbuds garbled the commentary with noisy interference, most severely in the mosque. I understood no more than 10% of Azahara’s commentary. At other sites, the problems lessened but only slightly. I would recommend that visitors bring their own high quality ear buds or headphones (as long as they connect with a mini-plug).

Really great guides made this an excellent trip
Both guides were excellent - really informative and also very responsive to questions. The audio guides worked really well even in crowded locations with other tours nearby. The tour covered most of the key sights of Cordoba but it was a long tour - a full four hours

    must-see in Cordoba
The English language guide spoke very clearly, had a solid grasp of the many centuries of history of this amazing place – am quite sure that the guides in other languages would be equally good, having seen the tours they were conducting at the same time as ours

I’d definitely recommend getting access to the patios, they are beautiful! The tour guide gave some great context and background to the tradition. The only issue is that the tour is somewhat chaotic since there are many other groups going to the patios at the same time. Be prepared for the tour to go a little long and do some waiting (this was not the guides fault, just the nature of this experience).

Samuel not only showed us the best patio in the neighbourhood, but he also showed us some places not to miss in the vicinity like Julio Romero Torres’s studio. He gaves lot of context and history about the festival of patios. The pictures that I took don’t even give enough justice to the beauty of those patio. I highly recommend this tour if you’re in town during that festival.

The Guide was very knowledgeable. The patios were beautiful. The only drawback was there was a lot of waiting in lines with quick view of patios. This was the week of the Patio competition.

We had a wonderful evening tour of the patios of Cordoba with Ruth, who was delightful. The patios are fabulous and Ruth was very informative both about the patios and the general history of Cordoba.
Very good value and if you need an English speaking guide definitely ask for Ruth.

We had a lovely evening walking tour of the patios in April.
Our guide, Ruth, was delightful. She not only gave the history of the patios of Cordoba but also included lots of interesting historical facts about the city. The tour is extremely good value and was a highlight of our stay.
If you want any English speaking guide definitely ask for Ruth, she was lovely.

This tour is a Very good way of experiencing different patios in Cordob. The tour guide had interesting stories and information about the origins of the patios and she could tell authentically what role the patios play nowadays for the people in Cordoba.
The visited patios were nice and close by, so that there was no need to walk too much. I recommend this tour for people interested in the patios and plants.

We booked this tour online from home. The meeting spot on the confirmation turned out to be the wrong meeting spot and no one from Oway was there. We happened to know where the office so ran there. They looked us up and said OH - you three are the only English people. They called the Spanish tour leader and had us join with that group. Most of the tour was in Spanish. Very little English. Some of the patios that had been booked were closed. It was not a great tour.

We went independently to the Palacio de Viana. For a small fee you can go in and see their gardens. It was beautiful and worth it.

The Patios of Cordoba are absolutely beautiful and a personal highlight of my time in Spain. But honestly our tour was average. We went with an English tour, but was grouped with a Spanish group, so we had a few places to wait. In retro spect it also felt like you didn’t need a tour to see the patios during the Festival/competition of the Patios. The City gives a map with the famous houses and they are all marked very clearly. Our guide was kind and gave basic information but next time I will try and do it on my own if I’m there during the competition time.
