Great Tour in a very small group
The tour was great. We meet the tour guide at the written meeting point on time. The tour is available in English, Spanish and French. As there were no other guests on that day we had a privat tour with the tour guide. Amazing! She showed us all the important places and gave us the information we needed to know. She also showed us small patios, e.g. one of the university of Cordoba. The highlight of the tour was the cathedral / mosque of Cordoba with unique views and very interesting insights of the history of this building. All in all a perfect tour which I warmly recommend.

Cordoba is essential part of a trip to Spain. It is a must see, if you love history, amazing architecture & great food!
Cordoba has always been on my list of things that I must do. I wasn’t wrong. I was able to arrive on Sunday on the fast train from Madrid Atocha station in less than 2 hours. I stayed at the Amistad, a great small hotel in the old Jewish quarter of the City. Don’t miss the Mezquita, the Roman Bridge & generally wandering in the old part of the City. Don’t plan on visiting major sites on Monday as a lot of them are closed. Definitely worth the effort!

    Not Responsive
Immediately after booking, I realized that I had selected the wrong time. I emailed Konexion tours several times in hopes of changing my selection. No one got back to me and I had to cancel the booking without refund.

    Interesting visit
Very interesting visit to the Mosque-Cathedral in Cordoba. The information provided on the audio guide is very good. You need about an hour to do this tour.

    Not wheelchair friendly
The tour guide was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about the sights. I picked this tour because I am in a wheelchair and it was supposed to be accessible. It is not! I ended up having to do quite a bit of walking due to the cobblestone walkways. I would have went with a different tour if I had known.

Incredible is it nearly a 1000 years old.
the size and scale are amazing. Photos don't do it justice. We bought tickets on the day, they are timed but we got straight in.

Pretty good tour of a magnificent monument
Our guide was knowledgeable and informative, but pretty dry — lots of dates. The mosque itself is utterly unique and has a mystical, magical atmosphere. The columns, evenly spaced but made of various materials, and topped by red and white arches, cast a spell. It has been described, accurately I think l, as a marble forest. The Christian modifications made after the Reconquista are all very well in their way, lovely Renaissance and Baroque, but I would love to have seen what it looked like before!

    Very interesting tour
We had a very interesting tour with our funny and informative guide, Paqui. So glad we had a guided tour rather than just went in on our own, otherwise we would never have known all the intricate historical and architectural facts. Definitely worth it!

    Visit day and night
Dear readers, you don’t have to be an architect to appreciate the innovative design of this site…as you enter the gate into the beautiful courtyard, I imagine the people coming to pray, with water flowing beneath their feet to perform ablutions…and then entering the mosque to worship…it’s beyond stunning….the columns that seem to continue forever, almost give the impression there’s a mirror, but no, it’s just that immense and grand…you can’t but feel humbled…then to be in the middle where the church lies, you almost forget you are surrounded by a mosque…I wish all religions can be at peace worshiping under one roof so freely…it’s a great example, even though it wasn’t intended that way initially…many fought for this place…I’m grateful it stood the test of time. Book a tour, it’s full of history…walk around at night, it’s lit so beautifully

Mosque Cathedral of Cordoba is a must see!
This is one of the most unique and awe inducing historical sights I have aver been to. The grander is truly something that may only be appreciated in person. The history of religion coinciding is something we still struggle with today and it is wonderful to see and experience.

    Fascinating history of the mosque-cathedral
Wallada is one of the very best tour guides! She has a through knowledge of Cordoba, having been raised there, as well as an excellent command of English, so could communicate the facts in an interesting manner. The mosque-cathedral has an incredible history, and she showed us each aspect, from Roman times, to the Visigoth Christian church (under glass), to the Moorish mosque, and the present Catholic Cathedral built inside the mosque. I highly recommend going, especially with Wallada.

Our tour was split across 2 guides - our second guide for the Cathedral-Mosque was superb. Very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and kept a reasonable pace. Our first guide was very different - there was a mix-up with our entry ticket time (not a big deal) but we just stood in the sun until we could enter. This mix-up also seemed to really frazzle our guide for the rest of the tour. She had interesting anecdotes but failed to pull everything together into one comprehensive story - it seemed like just random stories as we came upon things. Her facts seemed dubious at times (12 windows in the synagogue to represent the 12 tribes but there were 15 windows …) and her pronunciation made it very difficult to understand and follow (this wasn’t a Spanish accent - she would substitute consonants in words so you really had to pay attention, eg “Snape” to say snake) and often times simply didn’t know the English word (note this was sold as an English guided tour). Time management also seemed to be an issue - after the Alcazar some people asked to use the washroom and she was hesitant to let them go (but ultimately did) and then tried to rush them along. Once the group had reassembled, she rushed ahead without really waiting for everyone and was difficult to keep up. There was no other opportunity for a bathroom break or water break built in to the three hour tour - which makes me think if we hadn’t asked there would have been no break at all. Needs improvement.

This was a good quality tour with an excellent guide. We saw the key sights - although you don’t “skip the queue” at the Cathedral. A slight issue is that you have to wait at each sight as new people join the tour - so a bit of hanging about.

City is amazing, Cordoba mosque is a must see. The tour guide was nice and knowledgable. We didn’t get to see the alcazar although we paid for this bit. Were told city council closed it for an event on the day without prior notice. Our tour was at 1300 on a Sunday!!! No partial refund was offered for missing this part of the tour.

Dear Sara, thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected closure of the monument. We're pleased to hear that our team was able to offer an alternative experience in line with our policy stated on the website. We're glad you enjoyed the rest of the tour and the highlights of the city as the Mosque-Cathedral. Kind regards.

We spent almost four amazing hours with Paqui. We lucked out and there was just the two of us for the first part of the tour, joined by only two more people for the second half. One of the most informative tours we had in Andalusia!! Paqui combined her wealth of knowledge with humor, we didn’t even realize so much time passed by. We feel enriched by the experience! Muchas Gracias Paqui!!

Excellent tour, knowledgeable guides. The only room for improvement is to better clarify the meeting point and not yell at me for 5 minutes non-stop for missing it (it wasn't written in the instructions and guide told me it changed 2 weeks ago from where Google sends you.)

The guide was lovely and knowledgeable however we paid for the alcazar, synagogue and mosque and only got to see the Mosque. Couldn’t get into Alcazar and the synagogue closed on Sundays but that wasn’t mentioned anywhere. The guides took us to the flower patios instead of alcazar. A lot of walking to something we didn’t pay or want to see

Fantastic tour although a bit tiring. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a easy to understand way. The Mosque / Cathedral is amazing, a must see ! Had to queue a while for the Synagogue, for us not much to see would happily miss this out.
