I saw this on telly and was shocked. I'm not a UK voter so may have this wrong, but didn't she resign from the Labour front bench because she wanted Labour to call for a ceasefire in Gaza? Is that not what pro-Palestinian independent candidates want? What did she do 'wrong' in their eyes? Apart from being a woman who speaks up, obviously🙄

Hope it makes her more sympathetic to what GC women have been put through. What her assistant endured was much the same.
This all should have been nipped in the bud a long time ago.

This is appalling. Jess called the police many times - so why weren't these men arrested and charged? Then put on a curfew/banning order to prevent them doing it again? Let me guess - "cultural factors".

Time to clamp down hard on all intimidation and abuse of women. Charge these men and root out supporting groups within their communities. This behaviour from these males just plays even more into Nigel Farages hands.

I'm really not bothered if someone's far right, far left, up a tree, down a well or round the twist. We have to get over this awful idea that by stating labels about your politics and someone else's politics you then have some kind of right of exception to exempt them from normal laws and standards of behaviour.

Hence highly silly people on another thread trying to argue that hitting a woman who said something you politically don't align with isn't really a crime.

Men's abuse of women is becoming absolutely normal, and establishment men stand by. If the woman is a particularly uppity one they tacitly or even actively support the bashing and harassment of her by other men.

Starmer, you mentioned dealing with VAWG. Let's crack on with that, I'm all ears.

Because violence, abuse and intimidation from a certain type of men towards certain women is apparently acceptable and if a certain group of women would just not speak, they wouldn't be subjected to the violence, abuse and intimidation. I think.

The ring leader was Joss McIntyre who stood as a pro Palestine Independent. He and his followers have been attacking Jess for months. Jess is a member of Friends of Israel which is their justification for the abuse she and her supporters have received
