Today, we honor the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, a key milestone in the realization of LGBTQ+ rights. Despite progress in the U.S. and around the world, 92 countries still ban Pride events and criminalize LGBTQ+ life. With new HIV infections rising in many regions, access to HIV care remains a critical driver to get us closer to HIV elimination and the improvement of LGBTQ+ health. Our most recent article by Senior Consultant Kevin Lass and Associate Lily Stauble, MPH focuses on policies that strengthen access to HIV care in the U.S. and around the world, and why now is a critical moment for advocacy. About us
We’re Rabin Martin, a team of global health impact consultants. Driving better outcomes, access and equity – from strategy to execution. We design, develop and deliver effective solutions to unlock new markets and opportunities – creating creative ways for more people to access our client's medicines and vaccines, and generating support among key stakeholders. In today’s competitive and complex healthcare environment, leveraging Global Health expertise and partnerships, from strategy to execution, is a must-have in unlocking incremental growth. To do this, we bring together unrivaled global health and equity expertise – with decades of experience in commercial strategy, health system strengthening, health equity, and therapeutic area expertise – from cancer and chronic disease to rare diseases and maternal and child health. And we’re trained to see connections and know how to leverage local market knowledge, policy and partnerships to have a bigger impact on business and public health outcomes. It's why we've worked with the leading players in health, from entities within the UN, to pharma leaders like J&J and Takeda, to the Rockefeller and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundations. And have managed more than $2 billion in health and equity programming – across 80 markets including US, Europe and Low-to-Middle Income Countries. But a global health strategy that sits on a shelf doesn’t make an impact – on your business or the people who can’t access your medicines today. So, we follow it through to make a lasting impact. And we make it real by working side-by-side with you – managing everything from strategy and solution development to implementation, measurement, and evaluation. Do more for society. Deliver more for business. Questions? info@rabinmartin.com

Congratulations to AstraZeneca on the expansion of Healthy Heart Africa! It’s incredibly impressive that this initiative has screened more than 50 million people for hypertension and trained more than 11,000 healthcare workers over the past 10 years – and will now be taking on chronic kidney disease. As Dr. Aceng, Uganda’s Minister of Health stated when discussing the rise of non-communicable diseases in Africa: “Prevention, prevention, prevention is the way to go to make sure our populations stay alive and thrive.” We were pleased to attend this session during the World Health Assembly co-hosted by AZ and the Uganda Ministry of Health which featured panelists from the Renal Patients Society of Kenya, WHO, Amref Health Africa, PATH, and AZ and keynote addresses from the Ministers of Health of Egypt and Uganda.
