July is UV Safety Awareness Month, and it's important to take precautions to stay safe from the sun's harmful rays. Areas of higher elevation, like the mountains, can intensify exposure to UV light reflecting off surfaces like concrete, sand, snow, or water. Even on cloudy days, UV rays can penetrate through clouds. Wearing clothing with UV or UPF 30 or higher, sunglasses, a hat, and long-sleeved shirts, as well as seeking shade between 10 AM and 4 PM, can all provide more protection. #PeakVistaCommunityHealthCenters #PVCHC #Colorado #HealthCenter #FQHC

Rachel Rhue joined Peak Vista in 2019 and currently serves as a Senior Accountant at our Administrative Services location. Rachel took the initiative to learn how to update the coding in ADP, making it easier to prepare our month-end journal entries. She worked diligently to add all the new location and department codes into ADP, ensuring that all staff had codes that were according to budget, and that all our reports remained functional. As a result, we are now able to produce more accurate financial results in a fraction of the time.
