    We’re excited to observe our fifth annual Day for Meaning (DFM) on September 14 across McCann Worldgroup. On this day, our offices around the world close to come together as a globally connected community and devote time towards looking inward driving meaningful change. DFM is grounded in culture. This year, we are incorporating input from local communities and global trends, while also highlighting equitable and creative work that is making a mark in our increasingly diverse global marketplace. We'll use our time together to discuss and debate, then work together to establish plans that reaffirm our commitment to action the everyday behaviors, decisions and interactions that foster a climate of inclusion.     This day is central to our network’s ability to optimize our creativity.     McCann Worldgroup has named industry veteran Stephanie Nerlich Global President of the McCann agency. Stephanie will report directly to Daryl Lee, Global CEO of McCann Worldgroup and McCann.   In this newly created role, Stephanie will be responsible for driving business growth for McCann in partnership with the regional presidents of McCann Worldgroup, with a focus on expanding new capabilities in global markets. Stephanie will also provide executive leadership and counsel on the Verizon business for McCann in the US. Her dual role represents the latest in a new leadership structure spearheaded by Daryl Lee in which top executives assume dual roles at both the agency and client level to foster deeper collaboration and better access to resources for key clients.   Stephanie joins from Havas, where she was Chief Executive Officer, North America, and Global Chief Client Officer for Havas Creative Group. She led the creative network to strong growth, a successful new business track record and its best-ever showings in Cannes and the Effies, as well as a host of industry accolades for Havas agencies. Nerlich held business leadership roles at other agencies, serving as EVP at MDC Partners, President & CEO of Grey and President & CEO of Lowe Roche. Welcome to the team, Stephanie! #McCanners

    It’s been a fantastic week at our Tokyo office for MEGA - welcoming students, colleagues and tutors from McCann Worldgroup. MEGA -- the McCann Effectiveness Global Academy - is the proprietary effectiveness training program designed to build and continuously improve effectiveness culture as a means to producing better, more creative and more successful work for McCann Worldgroup and its clients. During this week's Academy, students were delivered sessions from Harjot Singh, Jamie Peate, Richard McCabe, Suzzane Zhang, Erica Yahr (she/her), Jitender Dabas ( Jeetu ), Brandon Cheung, Monica Tailor and Darren Hawkins. Tutors delivered sessions on a range of insightful topics such on how to measure effectiveness, writing for effectiveness, a creative view and creating a winning program. We’d like to say a huge thank you to all involved in MEGA Tokyo and we can’t wait to host the next MEGA intake! #McCanners #MEGATokyo
