Thrilled to announced a new multi-million dollar, multi-year grant from NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration to advance our stratospheric wildfire monitoring technology. The stratosphere offers value no other domain can in the fight against wildfires - the ability to loiter persistently above fires for hours or days, to scan and map fires in real-time and in higher resolution than satellites (though with similar scan rates), to fly high above any firefighting aircraft (thus posing limited airspace risk), and to be rapidly deployed in minutes when and where firefighters need assets the most. Our system will not only capture real-time, high-resolution, broad-area fire data, but it will carry a communications node that will allow data to be transmitted directly down to firefighters operating in remote, low-connectivity areas. This is work we are proud to pioneer. And we're hiring, so come join us and help!
