Develops innovative technologies that enable information superiority and tactical overmatch for our Joint Forces.
About us
With a workforce of more than 3,000 scientists, engineers, business support professionals and key military, The Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance – or C5ISR – Center, is an Army applied research and advanced technology development center under the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, or DEVCOM, which is a major subordinate command of the U.S. Army Futures Command. The DEVCOM C5ISR Center discovers and develops innovative technologies that enable information superiority and tactical overmatch for our country’s most important customer: our Joint Forces. As the Army’s primary integrator of C5ISR technologies and systems, the center conducts applied Research and Development, or R&D, across a wide variety of capability areas that touch all six of the Army’s Modernization priorities. These include cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, Intelligence, data analysis and fusion, tactical network design, wireless communications, radar, sensors, electro-optics, mission command applications, autonomy and machine learning, power and energy, modeling and simulation, counter-IED, minefield detection/defeat and Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing. Mission: To enable the networked Warfighter by identifying, developing, and rapidly integrating innovative technologies that enable decisive lethality through information dominance in Multi-Domain Operations. Vision: C5ISR Center’s vision is an Army that dominates the electromagnetic spectrum, commands the operation, and creates decisive effects – any time, any place. We achieve these by: •Encouraging a hunger for new ideas •Developing new technologies •Develop new ways of working

Happy 53rd Anniversary DEOMI! 🎉
Today, we celebrated our 🎉 𝟓𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 🎉 What an amazing celebration it turned out to be too. 🙏 This year, DEOMI Commandant 𝑼.𝑺. 𝑨𝒊𝒓 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒄𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒍. 𝑴𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑵𝒂𝒔𝒉 invited several former faculty members and alumni to join in the celebration. Among our special guests were 𝑬𝒖𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒆 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒏, one of the original Defense Race Relations Institute (DRRI) faculty members in 1971, and 𝑹𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒕 𝑾𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒔, former DEOMI Commandant from 2001-2005. Huge 🙏 to Mr. Johnson, Mr. Watts, and the several other former DEOMI faculty members and alumni who were able to attend! Your presence here was inspirational. 📢 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐨𝐨𝐧: Throughout the month of July, we will be highlighting these individuals, as part of our #DEOMI4Life campaign to honor those who have help the #DEOMI_CenterOfExcellence become the DoD's premiere Institute for Human Relations research, training, and education. Special 🙏 to everyone who helped make this year's anniversary one to remember!

#ICYMI there were robot dogs, mine detection, and of course cake! Our very own Research & Technology Integration Directorate provided the Honorable Christine Wormuth, Secretary of the Army, and her family with a demonstration of its quadruped robot dog and a handheld mine detector when she dropped by the C5ISR Center's exhibit at the 249th Army Birthday Celebration held at the National Museum of the United States Army, June 15. "As we observe Juneteenth, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the significance of this important day and its place in our history. Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and marks a pivotal moment in Nation's our journey toward freedom. The C5ISR Center is an organization dedicated to innovation and progress, and we continue to commit ourselves to equality, recognizing that our strength lies in our collective ability to embrace different perspectives and experiences, and to support one another in reinforcing a culture of respect and understanding." --- Elizabeth B.
