Another from our holiday back in January. The wonderful Franz Josef Glacier on NZ's West Coast.
And because it looks so small on the screen compared to my favourite squares, try it Bigger
Wasserfall Bad Urach
One cold day in February, I found a sheet of ice spread across the sidewalk. With great care, I pulled it up and discovered seeds and other debris frozen in time. Some of the best things in life ARE free.
Vestvågøy, Lofoten. The weather changed from a beautiful, calm sunrise to wind and snow as I got down at my knees to find a composition. I feel that the image in a way captured the rapid transformation from a beautiful morning scene to a much more hostile landscape. Thank you for viewing!
This twig had a small leaf on it, and you can see how the ice built up so thick around them. This much ice on all the branches makes for lots of broken branches, and lots of sad work with chainsaws...
want some (?) :)
This is what it looks like during winter at my uncle's house :)

This blue pumpkin was left forgotten in a far corner of my garden. Walking around my yard, I had to do a double take when I noticed it; the pumpkin was covered in a strange ice shell. Parts of it had formed what looked like fingers curling around it.
Please view large! Have a great day :-)
The lowest recorded temperature at Uranus' tropopause is 49 K (−224.2 °C), making Uranus the coldest planet in the Solar System.
My Uranus is an ice sphere ! :-)
