🏁 What a week it was for us in Portland last week, with plenty of success both on and off the track! 🌟 Some of the highlights include: 🚗 On-Track Success: Robin Frijns returned to the podium not once but twice, delivering two stellar performances as Sebastien Buemi also brought home points. After some tough weekends, a 39-point haul was rich reward for the hard work everyone has put in to turn things around. Congratulations to Robin and the entire team! 🏆 🌍 Off-Track Events: We were delighted to support the British Consulate-General in San Francisco and the City of Portland as the latter signed the ZEV Declaration. This commitment towards adopting zero-emission vehicles was a proud moment, one reinforced by our 'Driving Change' summit event held at the Portland Trail Blazers @ the Rose Quarter the day before. Together, we're driving towards a more sustainable future. 🚗🌱 🤝 A Welcome Guest: It was our privilege and pleasure to host world-renowned climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann at the race. Experiencing Formula E for the first time in five years, it was an honour to welcome him back into the team and show him how the technology and sport has progressed in that period. Thank you, Michael, for joining us and for your ongoing commitment to the important work you are doing! 🌍 🔋 And Much More: With so much success to celebrate it was certainly the perfect week to mark our new partnership with Southwire Company! At a trackside ceremony on the eve of the Formula E World Championship, the host City of Portland announced its signature to the #ZEVDeclaration and their commitment to phasing out the sale of fossil fuel vehicles by 2035. “Joining the ZEV Declaration is in direct alignment with the Portland ethos of protecting and preserving the environment," said Ted Wheeler, Mayor of Portland. "Being on the leading edge of a critical initiative is a familiar role for Portlanders who have always sought creative ways to solve challenges.
