The environment is an essential part of the global conversation in 2024 in every industry, from politics to sports to entertainment. Sustainability measures are no longer being considered a novelty or a good PR strategy - it's considered essential for the continuation of these international institutions, and #F1 is no exception. We think that sport is an oversaturated field of activity and is too monopolized, in fact it is not. There is one big gap in the sports industry, this is exactly the gap that deprives the development of the sports industry. The lack of a market for fundamental innovations hampers all the further development of the huge industry. People wedges into super competitive areas of activity, fighting there for survival, while the sports industry with a turnover of trillions of dollars lacks a market for fundamental products of the future. The paradox is that a lot of money is invested in the fundamental technologies of the war of the future and only then some of these technologies are used in peaceful life. But war is not eternal, but peaceful life is always there. When the guns stop talking, the sport starts talking first. #transformativetechnologiesofsports #sportsinnovator #sportstransformer #teamsportsinnovator #sports #sportsindustry #sportsbusiness #sportseducation #sportsinnovation #sportsscience #teamsports #sportsmarketing #sportsmanagement #fundamentalinnovationsports #innovativesports

On the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, we recognise the profound impact sport can have beyond the field, court, or arena. Sport brings people together regardless of their background, nationality, or beliefs. It serves as a powerful catalyst for social change and development, fostering unity, understanding, and peace. The inherent values of sport—teamwork, discipline, respect, and fair play—are also essential life skills. Through sport, we learn to overcome challenges, build resilience, and strive for excellence – qualities that are vital for personal growth and societal progress. Today, let us reaffirm our commitment to harnessing the power of sport as a force for positive change.

This programme represents a momentous step for The True Athlete Project but also for elite sport culture generally. It is clear that the tide has turned, globally, with regards to athletes playing an active role in issues they are passionate about, and there will be no going back. Research conducted on behalf of UK Sport showed that 86% of funded athletes would like to use their platform to make a difference to society while they are still competing. Sports organisations, clubs and National Governing Bodies are starting to acknowledge the futility of trying to stop athletes from using their platform and their voice, and instead are recognising the importance of supporting them in their passions outside of sport. UK Sport have led the way in this space, through this initiative to actively train funded athletes in becoming responsible, effective and compassionate social changemakers. At The True Athlete Project, we want to help athletes explore the richness and depth of experience available to them through a career in sport. These Powered by Purpose athletes have had a golden opportunity to learn from world experts, to take a deep dive into a whole new professional and personal path, meet and connect with athletes across sports, engage in nuanced, ethical and philosophical conversations, and connect it all to a personal plan of action. It has been an incredible honour to play a part in changing the elite sport landscape for the better with this pioneering programme, and we are excited by what these, and many more, athletes can achieve as Powered by Purpose continues to grow and expand. At TAP we often talk about the ripple effect that continues to make an impact on people beyond what you can see and measure. Through Powered by Purpose we feel that we have created a way for these ripples to turn into waves.
