The rivalry between The Final Testament and The New Day is intensifying each week. On the July 1st episode of Raw, Kofi Kingston sustained an injury during his match against Karrion Kross. Now, Xavier Woods stands alone in The New Day. In the most recent episode of Raw, Karrion acknowledged that his actions led to Kofi's injury and vowed to do the same to Xavier Woods.
Surprisingly, Xavier responded to Karrion's threats via tweets, also providing an update on Kofi Kingston's injury.
Xavier Woods on Kofi Kingston's injury
Xavier Woods responded to Kross' threats on Twitter with the following post:
"You all heard it. @TrueKofi will be out for a few weeks. 'There are 5 members in the Final Testament and 1 of me. Time to get to work…'"
In response, Baron Corbin tweeted, "Yo!" This means Woods will have to face the five members of the Final Testament – Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Akam, Rezar, and Paul Ellering – on his own.
Karrion Kross did not have a match on the July 8 episode of Raw. Instead, a promo was aired where Kross delivered a message to Xavier Woods of the New Day. Given the ongoing situation between the Final Testament and Woods, it's likely that we could see a one-on-one match between Kross and Woods on next week's Raw.
