Traffic advisory issued ahead of grand celebration
The Mumbai Traffic Police have issued a detailed advisory ahead of the grand victory parade for the Indian T20 cricket team on July 4, anticipating large crowds and significant traffic disruptions across the city.
The parade is expected to start at 5 pm from Wankhede Stadium, passing through key areas such as Marine Drive, Churchgate, Nariman Point, and Colaba, before ending at the Gateway of India.

To ensure a smooth flow and manage the celebratory crowds, several major roads along the route will be closed to vehicular traffic.
Marine Drive will be closed, with vehicles diverted via Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road. Churchgate and Nariman Point will have limited access and diversions, while significant traffic delays are expected in Colaba.
Additional BEST buses will run on alternative routes, and Mumbai metro and local train services will operate more frequently. Parking will be prohibited along the parade route.
Emergency medical services are arranged at multiple points on the parade route to ensure immediate assistance in case of any health emergencies.
