Rakul Preet Singh says she learnt many things from director S Shankar while shooting for 'Indian 2': 'It was a true experience'

Movie enthusiasts are eager to watch the highly anticipated sequel to Kamal Haasan’s hit film ‘Indian’. The sequel, ‘Indian 2’ by S. Shankar, will hit theaters on July 12. The movie also features Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles. Rakul Preet recently shared her happiness about working with S Shankar.
Rakul Preet called it a privilege to be working with a remarkable filmmaker, a legend in himself, and an amazing director like Shankar.His vision and the way he looks at characters thrilled her. The nuances he adds with his guidance on the set helped her learn so much from him. She called it a ‘true experience’ working with him.
In the sequel, Kamal Haasan’s Senapathy returns with a renewed mission to expose corruption. This time, his quest for justice takes him beyond the borders of India as he aids a young vigilante, portrayed by Siddharth. Alongside Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh stars as his love interest, with Kajal Aggarwal playing a pivotal role in ‘Indian 3’. Actors like S. J. Suryah, Bobby Simha, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, Kalidas Jayaram, and Gulshan Grover also play important roles in this movie.
Rakul Preet Singh will also play a key role in ‘Meri Patni Ka Remake’ with Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. She will also share the screen with Ajay Devgn for ‘De De Pyaar De 2’.
