Andhra Pradesh postpones AP TET 2024 to allow candidates ample preparation time, following a directive from the School Education Department. Revised schedule includes key dates from notification to final result declaration.

AP TET 2024: The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has announced the postponement of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024, originally slated for August. The decision follows a directive from the Commissioner of School Education to allow candidates ample time for preparation.
In response to the directive, the government has revised the AP TET 2024 schedule to ensure a 90-day gap between the date of notification and the examination date.

This adjustment aims to provide candidates with sufficient opportunity to adequately prepare for the exam.
According to the revised schedule, the AP TET 2024 notification and the publication of the information bulletin were issued on July 2, 2024. The payment of fees through the payment gateway is open from July 3, 2024, to August 3, 2024. Candidates can submit their applications online through the official website, cse.ap.gov.in, during this same period.
The availability of the online mock test will commence on September 19, 2024, providing candidates with a valuable tool to familiarize themselves with the exam format. Hall tickets for the exam will be available for download starting September 22, 2024.

The AP TET 2024 exam is now scheduled to be conducted from October 3, 2024, to October 20, 2024. The exam will be held in two sessions each day: the first session from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and the second session from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The examination will cover Paper-1A, Paper-1B, Paper-2A, and Paper-2B.
The preliminary answer keys will be released by the SCERT the day after each exam, beginning on October 4, 2024. Candidates can submit objections to the preliminary key starting October 5, 2024. The final answer key is scheduled to be released on October 27, 2024.

The final results of the AP TET 2024 will be declared on November 2, 2024.
The Commissioner of School Education has been tasked with ensuring the smooth implementation of this revised schedule, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken promptly.
