At Open Loyalty, we help businesses maximize the usage of their products and services with loyalty and gamification mechanics. We do that by offering an API-first loyalty engine for driving the acquisition, engagement, and retention of their customers. Companies use Open Loyalty to introduce features such as points, tiers, rewards, referrals, coupons, challenges, and more, faster than developing them from scratch.     ⚙️ New in Open Loyalty engine: allow wallets with a negative balance Open Loyalty allows you to create multiple wallets for your members so they can spend units on shopping and other activities. 🆕 You can now allow wallets to go into a negative balance Let’s imagine one use case with returns: 🙋♀️ Mary is an engaged redeemer in your loyalty program 👚 Her last purchase was a blouse, which granted her 1.500 points 🤑 An admin claims her a big reward – Event VIP Access – and now her wallet has 0 balance 🔙 She decides to return the blouse 🛒 Since her wallet can go negative, its balance is now -1.500 points ❗Note that this is an advanced setting that should be used with caution, as it can impact the business's bottom line. ❗It’s also an opt-in feature: This update does not change how previous wallets behave. By default, wallets cannot go negative. Use flexible wallets to craft engaging campaigns that keep users coming back for more.     ⚙️ New in Open Loyalty engine: target members that shopped the most in a period Open Loyalty allows you to segment users based on their shopping habits. 🆕 You can now segment users based on how many transactions they did during a specific period (that you choose) Let’s imagine you want to increase sales during the holiday shopping season. In Open Loyalty, create these three segments of members: 🔴 “No Shopper”: did not shop from October to December 🟡 “Mid Shopper”: bought 1 to 3 times from October to December 🟢 “Super Shopper”: bought 4 to 6 times from October to December With these segments in place, you can send different incentives to each. For example, aggressive discounts to NoShoppers and badges to MidShoppers (but only if they shop more!) Use segments to target particular groups of users and maximize your sales potential.
