Last night I became LinkedIn verified - but it came at a cost. You see Bob doesn't appear on my passport so I had to lose a little part of me the B-O-B and replace it with my birth name. So to verify my identity I had to lose my identity. Roberto's Loyalty Shop may one day be the evolution (never say never) but for now we're going to stick with Bob's Loyalty Shop same old B-O-B Have you tried changing it back to Bob now that you're verified? I hear you ask. No I haven't as it was a bit of a faff to get verified in the first place, but if I could and it still showed me as verified but as B-O-B then what a F-A-R-C-E this would be. So I'm leaning into it - I'm Verified so you know you are talking to re real deal - only it's not B-O-B, well it is I haven't had a mid life and acquired a stage name. Same old Roberto Salmasi I mean B-O-B from Bob's Loyalty Shop everywhere except here, on LinkedIn where it's apparently important to build a personal brand around B-O-B (I mean Roberto Salmasi) PS Professor Oscar Wooferson you've got NO CHANCE of getting verification approval - unless they can scan your chip. #verificationbetterbeworthit

Test , test, test... here's a test for you to run this summer: 10% off for email sign up vs no discount, but controls on email frequency. You may find higher signups with 10% off and higher purchase intent with no discount but control on how much you communicate. Follow up both signups in an onboarding sequence to ask areas of interest: What categories interest you the most (pick up to 3) and then narrow down the interest an intent. Consumers are in control. They can unsub from an email in a millisecond. Maybe they are okay with sharing their information if you exchange it with more information and respect their inbox. #retailmarketing #popupsniper
