Karol Wieteska, many thanks for demystifying the plug-and-play approach when it comes to loyalty software integrations! 🔥 (the link to the full webinar recording in the first comment). The statement, "Let's choose the loyalty software with out-of-the-box integrations and plugins; this will speed up implementation," is one of the most common misleading assumptions made by teams who want to implement a loyalty program in larger organizations. Plugins usually work if you have a small organization, a small tech stack, and a simple use case. They will not work with an omnichannel stack based on a complex system architecture. Be wiser than your competitors. Use API-first pieces and composable architecture to make your loyalty tech stack future-proof. Deliver faster. Create a smoother customer experience.

Thanks for sharing, Karl. Usually, the reason for using out-of-the-box integrations is speed—companies want to launch their programs quickly and see if they resonate. That’s a valid reason, but unfortunately, this choice often compromises the possibilities. The goal is to start fast and be able to iterate the loyalty mechanics quickly as you learn what customers want.

"The problem gets visible when the project starts" – very important learning, Karol Wieteska! That's a very bad start and I'm sure the costs for fixing or pivoting only raise over time.
