Cypher is a VALORANT agent who is the embodiment of the spy and infiltrator archetype. Cypher relies on ambushing enemies with various traps, which daze, restrain, and slow enemies in their range.

Cypher is also skilled in gathering information about the battlefield, using Spycam's to monitor enemy team movements or extracting information from dead enemies to reveal the location of their allies. Skilled Cypher players will have intimate knowledge of VALORANT maps to know the best places to set traps and Spycams, crippling the enemy team while staying hidden in the shadows.

Biography[edit]

The Moroccan information broker, Cypher is a one-man surveillance network who keeps tabs on the enemy’s every move. No secret is safe. No maneuver goes unseen. Cypher is always watching.

Trapwire

Ability: Basic

EQUIP a trapwire.
FIRE to place a destructible and cover tripwire at the targeted location, creating a line that spans between the placed location and the wall opposite. Enemy players who cross a tripwire will be tethered, revealed and dazed after a short period if they do not destroy the device in time. This ability can be picked up to be REDEPLOYED.

FIRE to toss the cyber cage in front of Cypher.
ACTIVATE to create a zone that blocks vision and creates a sound when enemy's enter it. (Can be picked up during buy phase.)

FIRE to place the spycam at the targeted location.
RE-USE this ability to take control of the camera's view. While in control of the camera.
FIRE to shoot a marking dart. This dart will reveal the location of any player struck by the dart.

Ultimate Cost: 6
INSTANTLY use on a dead enemy player in your crosshairs to reveal the location of all living enemy players.

    • Rescale Yellow silhouette now starts dimmer and fades faster to make it more distinguishable from an actual enemy.
