The ALA Nominating Committee for the 2025 ALA election is seeking nominees for the positions of ALA president-elect, treasurer and councilor-at-large on the 2025 spring ballot. You may self-nominate by submitting a candidate biographical form by September 16, 2024.

ALA members have an opportunity to self-nominate to be considered for an elected position with the ALA, Divisions, and/or Round Tables.

ALA members must complete and submit their candidate biographical form to be considered for an elected position. ALA members will be notified of their candidacy status after the close of the nomination or petition period.

The information provided in the form will be used to populate the election web ballot. Please note it is your responsibility to verify the information you have submitted is accurate to the best of your knowledge. ALA staff will not proofread or edit your information. After submission, you may go back to your form to edit and refine your information until December 13, 2024. It is important to submit your form to be considered.
