it is a lot to do about nothing. a whacko monk thinks that the capitol of the next (i.e. current) millennia is Brasilia, so we have a cathedral down town W3S, beautiful by the way, but irrelevant to modern life and this little park that gives a good view of the city and the bridges etc, but the little temple to this wacko monk is not why you are there. you are there to marvel at the city it's spectacular design the wonderful lake, pack a little lunch and be prepared to marvel at the city(but NOT the pyramid to this monk). Turn and look out in the other direction and you will be pleased, even inspired by the marvellous city that lies in front of you.

It is a very nice place with a beautiful landscape and a part of Lake Paranoá. This place is great for hiking, picnicking and longboarding. However has many legalize, but this not interfere with the fun

This place has amazing sunset ! its far from the city center , but with to visit. A great place to meditate and enjoy the nature of "cerrado" sorrounding the place.

I have been there three times. The first two i really enjoyed, the park is great and has an amazing view! I recomend it to everyone that is visiting Brasilia, you just have to pick the right day. When there is a hot weekend gets too crowdy, since everyone goes there bathing. The sun was too hot and we didn't find a place to sit near the lake.

It is in a park beside de lake Paranoa. It was build to be in the middle of the country. When it was build, about 60 tears ago, this was considered the middle, but with the new technology and GPS it was discovered that they missed the middle by only 130 meters. You can have a view of the capital from the other side of the lake, and watch the presidential palace.

Nice local park where you can get a nice view of the sun setting over the city. Great spot to take photos in front of the huge Brasilia sign.

a little further away, but it's definitely worth it to watch the sunset, swim in the lake, skateboard (or roller skates, etc.), play with children and have a picnic.

The Hermitage is located within the Dom Bosco Ecological Park and has two attractions: the church itself, designed by Niemeyer, and the lawn where rock shows took place over the decades.
