Visited here twice during my visit to Brasilia. The staff are absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. There is a lovely gentleman who speaks very good English and it made my life a lot easier. It is a very reasonable price for a sun lounger and access to all water sports such as paddle boarding. It is very relaxing and feels like a beach holiday even tho you are miles away from the nearest beach. There is also the option to buy food and drink when there. Brilliant, I couldn't recommend it more!

I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff were so helpful and lovely, especially in regard to the fact we do not talk Portuguese. This is such a relaxing/calm environment. It’s very fairly priced. The water sport activity access is also amazing! Perfect for families and friends. They also have food and drinks. This place has been a highlight of my time in Brasilia.

This is an amazing place at the side of paranoa lake!!! you can rent a sup or kaiak for 40 or 35 reais. u can stay there for 1,5 h for this price! I think its enough unless u are a professional sports person!!!

THis was my first time doing SUP! Let me first start by saying, go with good friends because it makes it that much more fun... I did! The staff did a great job speaking in English because they thought I could not speak Portuguese, so that was nice, but when they found out I spoke portuguese we had some great conversations!!! I'd keep going back to this place as it is much better than the ones in front of Av Paulista, it is too much like a party on that side!!

Katanka is an amazing sports & entertainement in Brasilia.
Paranoa Lake was built in order to help keeping air humidity during the draught season. It´s currently unpoluted and proper for swiming and nautical sports.
Katanka offers stand up paddle (SUP), windsurf and other equipment for rental.
SUP rental runs at R$35,00 for an hour and a half.
It is located inside Clube das Nações, and has clean toilet/shower facilities and also a small snack bar.
It´s advisable to call in advance and place a reservation for weekends since they won´t allow entrance if the place is already packed.
