About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Miles L0 contributionsA very special trip for law students and architecture fan alikeI had an exceptional guide, Maria, who was able to get me behind the scenes the greatest legal institutions in Brazil. Because my interest is more in the striking architecture, it was amazing that I was able to see inside these buildings that would remain closed even to Brazilians let alone a UK traveller. My favourite was the ‘soft centre’ of the Supreme Court building which although appearing to be a hulk of concrete on the outside was an incredible light-filled building, with a gallery, museum and radiant chambers. The Labour Tribunal showed us how even modern buildings need constant care and attention, and the hidden roof gardens and the Franciso Brennan tiles were a real find. It was great to be able to meet and chat to some of the workers there. Maria was energetic and full of ideas and helped me pla my itinery for the rest of my stay in Brasilia. What a great morning!Written 5 June 2024
- MarkPepp0 contributionsPerfect guide for visiting Brasilia wondersMy tour guide Mike was very well informed, patient with all my questions, and really just a nicely personable companion to help me with my first exploration of the Brasilia architectural marvels. I’m happy that I tried TripAdvisor for suggestions; Mike made this trip very memorableWritten 25 August 2023

The tour guide is nice but he just learnt English 3 months. He’s like a Uber driver, couldn’t give any introduction… So sorry I do not recommend to waste this money…

This tour gave us a decent introduction to some of the major architectural sites in Brasilia. Although the posting says water is provided, we received none, so bring your own. The tour is posted as being presented in English, but if our experience is any indication, it is multilingual and depends on the makeup of the group. In our case we were two English speakers out of a group of ten, so the majority of the information was given in Portuguese with shorter asides to us in English. The English of our guide was excellent. We were given ample time to walk around the national cathedral, three powers plaza, and other stops. We didn’t receive some information that would have seemed obviously of interest, that we read about later on our own. For example, at the Santuario Dom Bosco, we learned about construction details, but nothing about the interesting story behind how Dom Bosco’s dream led him to be considered a patron Saint of Brasilia although never having set foot in Brazil. Read about the major landmarks before going on this tour so you know some of the history, and can ask questions.

Great value for money. Toured all the major sights in the area on a minibus. Apart from the history of the development of Brasilia and some interesting architecture there’s not much to see. The Don Bosco blue church was the most striking. The guide was knowledgeable, but not very engaged. We had been to the art museum the day before which is really just an exhibition space for artists.

I booked a 930 tour at 6 am and was quickly contacted for location pick up at my hotel. Igor was a great tour guide. He was professional and knowledgeable about the history, monuments, and life in Brasilia. You will see all of the sights, plus additional information about activities in the evening. And for the cost it is the best deal on trip advisor.

How long (time) is the entire tour from departure point to return?
Are you able to bring a small suitcase to remain on the vehicle for immediate departure to the airport upon tour end?
O tour tem paradas para fotos, sightseeing? De quantos minutos em cada atracao, por exemplo catedral, sanctuario, praca dos tres poderes.
