We have some friends that live nearby so this is normally our go to pick for staying in St. Pete’s at a reasonable price with a great atmosphere and fun beach bar. We checked in late night and Aaron was very nice and informative. We spent lots of time at the beach bar. One big thing I like about coming back here each year is that the bar staff knows who you are like we never left. Soloman and Hannah are both always here when I am and are fast and friendly always. Hannah recommended my drink and some of the new tacos for us and they were delicious. I want to be clear that I am giving Postcard 5 stars souly because of the rockstars that work here that I have interacted with every step of the way from hotel and bar. The service here is superior.
The big negative I have to this place is that they went cashless. I own bars in other states and always travel with cash, as do MANY of my friends. I luckily also always have my card on me, but my friends who walked a mile down the beach to get to me did not, if I had not paid for their drinks our entire group would have walked next door because they had no option to pay. I heard people all around complaining about it and a few people next to me left when they heard. The bartenders were very poised in dealing with the situation and calmed most people but others had no option but to leave because they only walked up with cash. As a bar owner myself I felt bad for the bartenders losing that business and having to explain this to people each time they walked up to the bar
