We spent a very enjoyable month here escaping the winter of our COVID discontent. The rooms were spacious and comfortably appointed. We especially appreciated the physical separation between the bedroom and living area and also having two bathrooms. The room had some minor mechanical problems with non-working bathroom vents and a loose drain plate in the shower, but we opted not to deal with them during our visit. Having a washer and dryer was great for our long stay.
Charlie and Amy at the front desk were very welcoming and instantly responded to every request. The resort fee bumped up during our visit, and Amy immediately got that corrected back to the price we had been quoted. Fabian who minds the chairs and towels at the beach could not have done more to make our stay pleasant. We especially appreciated his keeping us informed about upcoming changes in the weather so that we could get the most enjoyment out of our day.
We selected Beach House Suites because we wanted open air hallways and stairwells during COVID. Everything felt very safe, with the staff and most guests uniformly masked and good social distancing in place. On the beach the chairs were a good 20' apart, and, of course, St. Pete Beach is huge and wide, so we never had to get too close to anyone. All of the local restaurants did a good job with takeout, and the hotel room had nice dining area. We are already planning our next trip back!

The Beach House Suites were roomy and comfy for three people. The kitchenette was missing a few items when we arrived but the staff brought replacement items quickly. The water lines for the washing machine were crossed...an almost disaster for our bathing suits. Shaded parking was at a premium and wholly inadequate. The individual in charge of the beach chairs and umbrella was very good about separating the chairs to the appropriate social distancing. The terrace was shaded the entire day, which was perfect for one member of our party who cannot be in the sun. The staff was very professional and accommodating. Even with the few missteps, it was a wonderful few days.

Stayed there for one week in July 2020. Good things the room suites are nice and a good location. The bad Parking fee is 24 dollars before taxes. It was free a few years ago. Resort fee is 36 dollars before taxes. This gets you an umbrella , towels and 3 chairs on the beach. The pool area has sometimes has persons working. Towels were there. When I arrived there was only 3 umbrellas there compared to 8 last year. Of the 3, one was completely broken, one was a small umbrella from the beach. The third was the only good umbrella. After complaining they brought up more broken umbrellas from the Don Cesars. Trash can was overflowing because nobody was working there. I secured a garbage bag and emptied the can and pick up the garbage around the can and put a new liner in the can.
There is maid service ever 3 days So your room only gets cleaned 1x. during your stay. So you have to empty your garbage and set it out side the door. You have to Take supplies from the maid’s cart. Daily. I had to mop my floor with a bath towel to clean it.
There is no tiki bar open. Nor is there any one there to make any mixed drinks. If you want a drink, You have to walk out to the beach and go next door to get a Mix drink. They said it was the Covid-19 is why they could not make drinks. But 3 weeks earlier they told me yes they had a person to make you drinks. New manager is there I hope he can get the place back on track. I like going there. Maybe Maid service every 2 days would be a good start. This is a fair impartial review.

Pros: Staff were all very nice and super friendly both at Beach Suites and Don Cesar.
View from 4502 is exactly as advertised and has unobstructed panorama of the Gulf.
Laundry with detergent is nice touch.
Well stocked lobby amenity/snack/liquor area.
Shuttle was prompt and drivers were great.
Cons:
Although official check in was 3pm we couldn't get in earlier than exactly 3pm (we were offered a ground level room but declined). We were offered a late checkout 1pm vs 11am however this wasn't relayed to the next day's front desk and they (very politely) asked if we had left at 1pm.
Weren't made aware of the $24 daily parking fee. (We were comp'd on check out after raising a few other issues (to follow).
As an airline employee, I have been wiping down my room's high-touch surfaces since Covid began. The places I wiped (switches, doors, handles, buttons, etc,) resulted in an obvious lack of deep cleaning. Keurig wasn't cleaned and there was significant dust on the harder to reach areas.
The Sand Dollar Bar, which is the only food and beverage option at Beach Suites was closed. Food had to be delivered from the Don Cesar by the shuttle drivers.
The Don Cesar pool area is under significant construction and the beach isn't visible from the South Pool. Lots of construction noise throughout the day.
Top complaint:
During the 24 hours we stayed, a mulch company was spraying the grounds with a VERY loud truck (think a fire truck but mulch instead of water). Assisting the truck was a team of leaf blowers directing the sprayed mulch. The noise stopped at 7pm and resumed at 10am. Needless to say, it was not a restful, relaxing stay and upon getting to the car we found it covered in mulch dust. I understand this is periodic maintenance and not an everyday thing but it really degraded the quality of what was supposed to be a relaxing overnight vacation.
We were comp'd the resort fee of $36 in addition to the parking fee of $24.
Again, I can't say enough about the politeness and professionalism of the staff...absolutely 10/10.

I did a lot of research to find the Beach House suites so I could surprise my wife with the best views of the Gulf of Mexico and Saint Pete Beach for our anniversary. Advertised in the Beach house web site was the Grand King Suite, it exactly said " uninterrupted views / highlights fabulous views of the Gulf of Mexico and Saint Pete's Beach. I was given 4101 a Grand King suite all right but from the balcony on the first floor there was only a sliver of uninterrupted view of the gulf and beach. To the North there were 3 palm trees and high bushes in the way , most of the view straight ahead was obstructed by very high bushes and to the South we could barely see the beach so we could only see a little bit of the beach. This is not what was advertised! The person at the desk could not change our room that day, so the next morning I went to see the manager who was very professional and changed our room to a higher floor , unfortunately we could not get in until late afternoon so we basically "lost" one day of our short 3 day outing. If you are going to advertise uninterrupted view for the Grand King , you need to either cut the trees and hedges to clear the view in front of the first floor balconies or you have to discount the rooms and inform the customers that the first floor rooms ( 4101 - 4102 & 4103 ) have obstructed views - it would only be fair. However the suites are very nice , the location and views from the upper floors are unbeatable. Also for 2 days - late afternoon and most of the next morning there was a mulch truck spreading mulch on the tree and flower bed of the property. Not only was it very noisy but it covered my car of dust and light mulch. Also I could not get out of the parking lot as I was blocked by this big truck. I do understand that it needs to be taken care of but again the guests should be informed of the loud noise and the management should make sure that the guests do not " suffer " from this landscape work! Also there was no manual/instruction book in the suite especially to know how to operate the cooking top which was not easy to figure out. It would have been great to benefit from some kind of gesture from the management for the inconveniences but nothing was offered. This hotel is in a great location and Saint Pete Beach , the Don Cesar nearby and Pass a Grille village are great places to be! The staff at Beach House is very nice and my wife and I really enjoyed the suite and the beautiful views when we were moved to the 4th floor however in all fairness I am not sure I will return as we did not feel that paying attention to details and the well being of the guest are the priority of the people operating this property.

The check-in was very good as we arrived at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday and were able to get into our room. The location was great and the beach too, and what made it even better was Fabian. The best beach service ever. Fabian was the best!!! From attention to detail to always having a smile & a great attitude made it fun to go to the beach. There’s a huge difference between his work & any of the others on his few days off. The Front desk, and the maintenance engineers who service the washing machine/AC provided very good service. Donnie from the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable in making recommendations on places to eat. The front doors were very heavy and made a loud noise when closing the doors. We could hear our neighbors every time they close the door which was really annoying. Our room was a connecting room and we could hear everything from the other room even when they used the microwave. The coffee quality in the room was awful, they had better coffee at the front desk. We used the bikes from the Don CeSar Hotel as the Beach House Suites' bikes were broken, but even the ones at The Don CeSar Hotel were not great. We were on the 5th floor and the A/C units were right on top of our room and loud. The fitness center at The Don CeSar was on renovation so were not able to use it, but it was OK as the beach was perfect for walks.

Location is great. Pool area clean. Pool bar was short staffed and the only bartender had to work the pool area and beach, good service was still provided. Crazy that you have to pay a daily resort fee and if you want beach chairs that is an extra fee. Room was so filthy! Bed sheets torn, globs of hair in both bathroom shower drains, dust hanging from lights/air vents, couch cushions had a very bad odor. As you walked the hallway you would see pillows thrown on the ground as housekeeping was cleaning. At checkout we were never asked how our stay was. When we told them about the condition of our room the response was “well you are at the beach”. We have stayed at meany beach resorts and have never experienced accommodations as awful as this one.

We stayed for a week before Christmas. The hotel is pretty nice, kind of looks like a motel from the outside because all of the hallways are exterior.
The rooms are exactly as shown on the website. Each has a bedroom, living room, dining area, and small kitchen area. It's an ideal setup for those staying more than a few nights. You can at least have breakfast each morning in the room. All rooms also have balconies, so you in housekeeping every three days, which is fine. They will collect trash in between if you ask.
The pool and beach access are great. There's no beach food or beverage service during the week. That is available at the Don though. The bar closes at sunset, so it's overall a pretty quiet place after dark.
Amy at the front desk is really helpful and kind. All of the staff we met were very nice.
Our one complaint is the resort fee of $36 plus $24 for daily (non-valet) parking. You just feel nickel and dimed. Beach House is certainly not the only hotel charging for this, but once you're paying $300 a night for a hotel, it's annoying. $60 a night of extra fees should really just be included in the room price. Since these fees are not optional, just include in the rate. And if I'm paying $36 a night for a resort fee, the wifi should be top-notch. It wasn't. The wifi crashed or stopped working frequently.
Overall, a great stay. We would definitely go back, even with lots of daily fees.

I am a healthcare worker in the state of Florida and I'm appalled by the lack of cleanness that we saw in room 4511 over this past weekend. We noticed that the kitchen table had not been wiped down, the outlet in the kitchen had a disgusting grime on it, the bathroom sink and the shower caddie had mold on it, and there was a cracked glass on the shelf. Your website states the following below.
• COVID-19 training for on-property team members • Increased sanitation efforts, including the use of disinfectant products approved by EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) specifically for use against emerging viral pathogens for ongoing cleaning of guest rooms, public spaces, gyms and meeting rooms. I brought it to the attention of the lady at the check in and asked if I would send the pictures to her. I did and have had no follow up. Bring your own cleaning supplies!

The hotel doesn't have shuttle service. But there are services that take you there you can pre-arrange. None of the balconies face the street or parking lot. I had garden view. All balconies are angled so you get a view of the ocean. Your direct view is the courtyard and bar. There is a designated smoking area. No smoking on balconies.
There are more places to choose from in the St. Pete Beach area.
