The lady who said she got wet and didn't know there was a conference call # to call while on the tour is an idiot. Very clearly played out directions and expectations. - amghouseBeverly, OH2 contributionsNot only did we have a beautiful day, but we saw so many dolphins! On the way back we saw a pod of 5 dolphins that included a literal days old baby dolphin! We found several cool shells at Shell Ley Preserve, and I had a Manatee swim 5 feet away from me at Shell Key!
We have been trying to take this tour for 3 years and always get rained out, but not this time! We had the best time! Thank you Captain Ian and First Mate Claire! They were informative and took any opportunities to point out unusual sightings along with the various dolphins and a variety of birds…. All at a reasonable price! - Lisa GGolden Valley, MN21 contributionsNeil was a great tour guide, with lots of knowledge about the wildlife in the area. It was nice having our own private tour, so you could have a say in what you wanted to see and do. We were able to have extra time out at no charge too. The mangroves were amazing and Shell Key was a nice beach. It was quite a ways to Shell Key, but we all thought it was worth it and we went at a nice pace that it didn't seem like too much paddling . The double crested cormorants were following along with us almost the whole way. They would dive under and come up with fish that they ate right in front of us. We even saw a dolphin flip a mullet fish out of the water.

Taylor was our guide this time and she was great. After watching the sunset, we went and watched the lights on the different bridges, which was beautiful. As a couple, I highly suggest a private tour. - Amanda FBradenton, FL1 contributionIf you’re looking to do water sports, definitely book with Capt Allen! We did the short 2 hour ride and it was amazing! None of us knew how to wakeboard or knee board and he really took his time to teach us and kept letting us try until we got it. I’m the two hours all 3 of us had time to wakeboard, knee board, and go tubing. I’m always nervous about going on tours and boats with guides but Capt. Allen was so nice and patient and set the perfect vibe with good music. - Adam F7 contributionsAwesome. Calep set us all up and was super chill and hilarious. Paddled out through John Pass, saw cool boats, dolphins everywhere, used chairs provided & had drinks on island (it was like a big party…Boats were there playing music… floating bars…floating taco stand…so cool). Timed it perfect…got there at low tide. Set up chairs on island, had drinks and just let the tide come in around us…sitting in 4 inches of water before we packed it all up to head back. On way back went through mangrove tunnel, and dolphins came 10 feet away from us. Highly recommend. Ask for Calep!
