I would not use a third party to book future reservations. Many issues with dates of travel, and not all cost for reservation disclosed. I will only book directly through resorts in future. Very hard to communicate with customer service due to language barriers.

We enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Beachcomber! As with many accommodations in the area, the Beachcomber is an older place, but still has a ton of charm! It feels well maintained and the guest rooms appear to be recently updated. The furniture in the rooms could use an update or deep cleaning in the near future. I would recommend this hotel for couples or families with older children. The location cannot be beat, we didn't need a car for our stay except for our travels to and from the airport!

We came for a wedding and hoping to save money chose one of the cheaper hotels. We arrived and I wanted to cry. First, the woman checking us in was very unpleasant. The rooms smelt like mold, our curtain was broken so we had to hang a towel to cover the window, the rooms were barely cleaned. We decided to suck it up and stay as we were only there to sleep. If we had brought our kids I would have found another hotel immediately. I will say the beach and restaurant were great and made up for some of the shortcomings of the rooms as we had 2 great meals there and a lot of fun.

Hotel is nice enough. I dont agree with the reviews that the rooms are old and need updating. What my one star review is about is the fact that there is NO sound insulation in the ceiling. We were on the bottom floor and could hear ever single step the people above us made. It was constant. I dont know how many people were in that room but they walked like Shrek back and forth for what seemed like hours. Plus banging and droping things. I dont know why they would need to make that much sound but it was excessive. I would never stay here again due to this.

Perfect location for St. Petersburg beach and pools, but tiny rooms with a giant AC that blows you almost out of bed. Hotel offers free lounges and umbrella on the beach for you. The 2 pools are very clean and beautiful. Perfectly located in st Pete for walking to everything. Won’t be back, about 50 years old? The closet is in the utility room. Wow
