Have been coming here for years and really enjoy it. The location is ideal and that’s what you’re paying for. The issues I’ve had with it have been forgotten about when seeing the sunset over the beach.

We stayed here in mid October across a suite and beach front room.

Our issue is probably easily fixable and personal… the music from Bongos.

Aside from the live music they now only seem to play pop/edm/rap music which I enjoy in a club environment but hearing Rihanna at 10am is just a bit much and really takes something away from the tiki chill vibe the resort and beach has.

Not sure if it’s to appeal to a younger crowd coming off the beach, but paying such a high amount for a suite room in the Bellwether, I feel the music should be more tailored to possibly a more middle aged demographic as the music is inescapable when on your balcony in the morning or mid day.

It’s taken the Bellwether from having a bit of laid back charm to feeling like I’m on the Jersey Shore.

The couple we were staying with were actually considering getting married here after our visit last year but they now find the music makes the experience feel cheap and don’t want their elderly family having to contend with hearing big room dance bangers at 11am.

Something Bellwether should really think about considering the music being played during the day time when bongos has very few customers is being heard by many hotel customers paying $$$ a day to stay and is inescapable.

It’s ok

The front desk staff at check in was nice. His name was Dana. The morning staff was a bit snippy. The rooms are tired. The beach is gorgeous. We had dinner at the beach bar. The music was great and the food was too. The hotel seemed to be leaning and apparently had been renovated and they decided to put the electrical cords in casing all over the ceiling. Our room faced the parking lot and there were bright lights and sounds all night. I would visit to eat but I wouldn’t sleep there again.

Bell Whether Resort Complementary Photoshoot

One of the most amazing experiences i’ve had. I’m so thankful for the Resort to have this photoshoot opportunity and even have it done on my birthday. Liz & her Husband are wonderful! Highly recommend everyone to have photos done!

Family Sunset Photos

Family sunset photos were awesome. It was a really run and enjoyable experience with the sunset in the background for the photos. Our photographer was great with us, especially with the pregnancy photos. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful views

Our stay was awesome! Our views from the balconies were incredible, the suite was clean and spacious and we loved the complimentary photoshoot sunset photoshoot (so much so that we bought all of the pictures)! A honeymoon to remember! ☺️

Wonderful getaway

Great hotel, it was lovely having cabanas and lounge chairs free for our use on the white sand beach. The 8am restorative yoga on Saturday morning with Jillian Dzieciol lived up to its name and made me feel great.

Room tip: Head up to the outdoor lounge on 11, using the elevator just inside the front door as soon as you can. Beautiful views.
