We really enjoyed our stay at Sirata. It was our first time and heavy pros were the amount of amenities (3 restaurant / bars, 2 heated pools, 1 hot tub, beach service, laundry, and size of space was very nice. It is larger than most. The food was fantastic! The overall decor is older but it is very clean and the staff was great. I would recommend.

I checked into this hotel 2 days ago and had an unpleasant experience with the front desk agent. Upon arrival I waited in line where they have signs to check in and no one looked in my direction. As I was waiting for about 5 minutes a group of 5 came in from an entrance that wasn’t supposed to be used. and went right to the desk before me. I didn’t say anything. I just waited for the next agent to be open. As I’m waiting another gentleman walked in from an entrance that wasn’t supposed to be used. So now, I walk towards the desk because I was already waiting before a group went in front of me and didn’t want to wait for someone else to go in front of me. I was hoping the agent would have told the gentleman that I was on line first and take me. But he didn’t say anything. So I had to tap the gentleman on the shoulder and tell him I had been waiting. The agent looked at me like i did something wrong. And I actually said “is there a problem” o told him I was waiting and he said “yes I saw you”. So if he saw me waiting why didn’t he do his job and call me first. I think he gave us a dirty room on purpose. The tub I cracked with stains. As soon as we put the heat on there is dust everywhere. And again today. I’ve worked in hotels and hospitality my whole life and would have never have treated a paying guest the way he did. So, I think from that first interaction it just didn’t set our stay off in the right foot. I could be a secret shopper and he has no idea. I have to say everyone in the restaurants have been friendly and nice. It’s a great location but you might be able to find a nicer place for the same price. I really wanted to like this place but am disappointed. We wanted to check out and cancel the rest of our stay but would have been charged. So we are here a another couple days. Hopefully there isn’t more issues.

Your feedback is of great importance to us, and we wished we could have done more to address your concerns while you were here when it would have mattered most. Overall great time and we'd stay again. We had a king room overlooking beach and it had amazing views! We ate at both Harry's and Rum Runners and food and service were very good. We enjoyed the complimentary live music and cocktails on Thursday 6-6:30. Hotel is walking distance to many other eateries. This was our first trip to St Pete beach and we look forward to going back!

Overall if you are not a picky person you will be just fine. Our room was nice with a city/bay view. A little outdated, meaning not your 5 star brand new place, but there will be wear and tear by the ocean not matter what. Some pics looked bad but our room was nice.
Nice place with good amenities. A little pricy but we are used to a Mexico all inclusive. The blended drinks at pool were $9 which seemed a little over the top so we just had one. Only ate at Harry's once and it was yummy and could eat by pool. We loved the 30 minute happy "half hour" and they would let you get a couple drinks each time. We had about 3-4 per happy half hour. The firepit at night was nice but only worked the first night, then apparently the propane line was faulty so no luck the remainder of nights. We never saw the firepit by the pool on (by the swinging chairs). Would have been nice if they would have offered that up on the nights the other firepit was out. Beach was fantastic. Gorgeous sand. We took some home and very comparable to Cancun which we had a sand vile of at home.
The only gripe there was they kicked you out of chairs promptly at 5:00pm each day. Would have been nice if you could use them until 6pm or dusk.
Parking was never an issue but it was not full when we were there the week of January 10th. Started to get fuller Thursday and Friday for the weekend. Great neighborhood to walk around, we walked up and down the little peninsula islands by there with beautiful houses. And amazing liquor store across the street (Normans). If you can't find your drink there I'm not sure what to tell you. If you drive north about 10 minutes check out the best (but disgustingly charming) dive bar I've ever seen called Mahuffers.
Overall I could go back easily, but may also opt to try one or two places in the area.
