I travel a lot and have NEVER been SO DISAPPOINTED before. I did the online check-in and they lost it. ok. I went inside and had to register all over again. We paid extra for an outdoor jacuzzi which we NEVER got to use because the temperature refused to go under 109 degrees, and that could be deadly!
We checked the bed and found no bugs. I woke up the next morning with bumps on my neck. VERI ITCHY LARGE BUMPS. Checked again and found nothing.
The next morning our hot water heater alarm went off at the crack of dawn. Called the desk. They'll send someone. 1 1/2 hours later- no one. Called again. Oh, no ones been there for your smoke alarm! NOT SMOKE ALARM- HOT WATER HEATER! NO hot water! Still no one. As we are leaving, he shows up- for the SMOKE ALARM!!!
Every morning I wake up with more bumps around my neck & now on my legs too.
Our last night I turned on the lights so I could start packing. Well, as I moved the pillow away for the suitcase, SPIDERS START RUNNING AROUND!! More pillows, more spiders. We slept on the couch downstairs. I notified the front desk when we checked out and was given the manager's card and told to contact her. I did that.
A week later I got a call from her. She was terribly sorry and asked if I would a free stay. I only get 2 vacations a year and was not about to spend another week there. She told me she would see what she could do for me after speaking to her supervisor and to give her a couple of weeks. I heard nothing. I emailed her this week and got a routine response stating she was "NO LONGER WITH THE COMPANY AND I SHOULD CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE". I did that and I have heard NOTHING FROM ANYBODY NOW. I also forgot to mention the overpriced restaurant on the property with undertrained staff and the dirty seat cushions surrounding the pool. You obviously get what you pay for, and this place is not worth the price. Stay somewhere else!
