I wanted to really like this resort since it was recommended by a friend. However, Upon our arrival at check in time (4pm), our room was not ready. We were not checked in until almost 2 hours after the stated check in time. I asked if we could be compensated by not being charged for 1 night of our stay since the policy is that if the renter checks out late, he/she will be charged an extra day. I was told that we could not be compensated in that way. Almost 2 hours of our room not being ready, we settled for a villa where the carpet had stains from the previous renters that had not been shampooed. We settled because our options were to wait an additional 45 mins to an hour, or take the stained carpet villa and someone will come and shampoo it later that day which they never did. After driving 15 hours the day before to get from DE to Fort Pierce FL and then an additional 2 hours that day to get to Orlando, I didn't want to sit in the back of my truck (where my family waited) any longer. To compensate us, the resort offered to take off the $99 cleaning fee, the resort fee and gave us $80 in restaurant credit. This still did not add up to 1 night's stay at the resort.
The villa itself was nice (aside from the stained carpet). I also noticed that the sliding screen that led to the patio was off track and "janky" to slide open and closed. A few other things my family complained about were hard beds, hard towels and extremely hard water pressure in the showers. We also had to request a remote for the TV in the family room because there was not one there when we checked in.
