We have been to this Resort many times and it was excellent as expected,The dive operation top notch with Darrin as the Manager,no matter what was asked he was a man of his word,all staff all friendly,Osmand and Billy helped on and off the boat and knew that I float my gear,thanks so much guys,food was good,always a variety which is good,rooms are nice,plenty of AC,pool could use some TLC,Adios until next time
We have been here many many times to tourquoise bay resort, and have never had a bad experience here. The dive operations us top notch as far as im concerned osman and capt billy are the best ever. My only few complaints about the resort is you cater way to much to the cruise ship folks. They are not guestwho stay for a week or more but when they are here you make them the priority. You cannotuse the beach or bungalow facilities while they are here for the few hours they are here,thats not right. Us oaying guest that stay for a week are kind of shunned out when cruisies are here,next is the pool,spend some money and redo it instead of fancier stuff for the cruise ship folks.
We love coming here because it is usually so peaceful unlike the west bay resorts and the staff are always awesome pablo and kasey were fantastic and Daren and his staff in the dive shop are superb.
Just fix the pool and i would be happy
From the moment we arrived on the Island we were great immediately out front and once we arrived at the resort quickly had all our bags moved to our rooms and handed a sweet tropical rum drink, umbrella, fresh fruit and all. The diving facilities was top notch with plenty of boats and space. Capt. Billy, Omar and Nelly took exception care of our diving needs and safety. Food was exceptional with varied daily offerings with buffet style along with omelet station in the morning and fajita station for dinner. The bar either in the main facility otlr one of the beach front bars were well stocked and perfectly staffed. Staffing on the property was superb with lots of smiles and plenty of staff readily available. The property went above and beyond when many in our group had weather days for a day or twonthen no luggage so the drove them around the island for supplies and the newly named dive shop from Subway to Turquoise Divers got them geared up in ScubaPro gear. Nobody likes lost or delayed gear but they made the best of a situation not in their control.
We went here with adult kids and grandkids. We surprised them with the horse back riding and they thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a gentle walk through the hills around the beach guided with several handlers that made sure the horses were in control the whole time.
The reef your take a boat to is beautiful but not the best reef or snorkeling you will ever do. But it was easy, crystal clear and a nice hour in the water.
The service by all was excellent. Everyone really wanted to make sure you were taken care of. The food was average at best but we didn't go there for the food. Good drinks and local beer.
We were on a cruise and visited this resort for a nice relaxing beach day. Our excursion included drinks, snacks and lunch. It was certainly a beautiful place to visit. The staff were really friendly and the food was good. The hotel resort was really beautiful and well cared for. There were a few boats coming and going taking divers out to the reefs. The resort is in a quiet area of the island. If I was planning a vacation to Roatán I would certainly consider staying here.
