Stayed at the Villas. They've got everything you need! Big spaces, big beds, balcony, kitchen fully equiped with mugs, plates, microwave, blender, etc. You better bring your own coffee and food to get a better experience of the kitchen of course since it has everything you need. Living room couch is pretty big(enough to even sleep there)! Bedrooms (two) have 1 king size bed and big bathroom, the second room has 4 single beds. Air conditioning working all over the villa, housekeeping cleans daily, villas have a pool area thats perfect to visit with friends. Now lets talk about the restaurant: we got very surprised at how delicious food is in here, we tried breakfast , lunch and dinner, I must say I have to come back!!! The driver that took us to the villa was super friendly and clever, reception, waiters, and everyone else. Thank you Rafa and Splash Inn!

Don’t let the name Splash Inn Dive Resort fool you. It is a hidden gem worthy of a return visit. We stayed at the resort from June 13th through June 20th, 2021 with the intent of diving as much as possible.
The hotel is perfectly situated, only 20 minutes from the airport, and nestled along the coast within feet of restaurants/bars, water taxis, bakeries, and grocery (essentially everything you could ever need). Pictures do not do it justice. The ocean is literally across the street, and they have a private dock for swimming, tanning and dive boat operations.
The property is clean, the rooms are quaint (equipped with a/c, a safe, tv, and refrigerator). If you are looking for 5-star accommodations, this is not your resort. Do not expect the Waldorf Astoria when first entering the room, but then again if you are you are probably missing the point. We felt safe, everything was clean, the maid service was perfect and overall we were very comfortable.
Staff welcomed you with open arms and smiles, and everyday you felt part of their family. Food at the resort was delicious. They had everything ranging from pizza to seafood, and the drinks were phenomenal.
Staff arranged On-Site Covid Testing, airport taxis, and a shark dive @ another location.
The dive shop is also across the street and conveniently located next to guest rooms. The dive staff were very professional, organized and experienced. Each guest diving was given their own locker and space in the dive shop for equipment. We felt comfortable leaving it there to dry overnight. We ended up completing thirteen dives (including four referral dives). The dives were amazing and we recommend using Splash Inn Dive services.
A special thanks to the amazing staff at Splash Inn Dive Resort: Sterling, Derrol, Elesmay, Felipe, Leonela, Eliazai, Chris, McKinley, and Jorge. You all went above and beyond to make our trip special and we are very grateful.

I stayed at the Splash Inn for a winter holiday dive trip with girlfriends. It was the perfect location in the middle of the main beachside strip on the West End of Roatan. The Inn has its own restaurant, and a hot buffet breakfast is included in the nightly rate. The Inn also has its own private dock, where we watched the last sunset of 2019. The room has an ocean view and daily maid service. It was basic and clean, with a hammock on the front porch. Perfect for our purposes as we spent most of our time exploring the island and in the water. The Inn also has a full service Scuba Dive Shop providing daily tours. Will definitely be back!

March of 2021, I traveled to Roatan to dive with a pair of really good friends. This was a trip previously scheduled for 2020, but that couldn’t be completed due to COVID. The wait was worth it. The rooms were clean when we got there and well maintained throughout our 4 night stay. No issues with bugs or water pressure or cleanliness at all. We ended up eating at the dive ship due to construction at the restaurant area, but it wasn’t a problem, as it is just across the alley and the weather was beautiful. The Splash Inn is a few feet from their dock, so it was all very convenient. By the time we left, they were prepping to stain the restaurant deck, so I would assume everything will be up per usual by mid March. One of the best parts of the stay was the people who made us feel so welcome; the entire time was pleasant, interactions friendly and helpful. Ricardo was our dive master and was extremely knowledgeable of all our dive locations (we did 7 of them) and helpful in getting my open water dives in. I never had any concerns regarding any of the dives. Sterling assisted Ricardo and was fun, friendly and helpful both in and out of the water. Captain Moreno made sure all our rides were quick and crisp, and we never waited after surfacing after our drive dives. Ricardo, Sterling and Moreno worked as a well oiled machine and after the first day, we had built a strong enough rapport that our last 4 dives were like diving with friends. Eli (Eliazar), the manager, was accommodating and friendly, and made good recommendations for us throughout our 4 night stay. In regards to location, you can’t beat it. West End isn’t very big, but Splash Inn is smack dab in the middle, with easy access to everything, including a quick water taxi ride to West End (more tourist focused, less dive focused, in my opinion). The local food was fantastic — baleadas, empanadas, ceviche and more. We ate like kings for almost nothing. COVID scares have really made the island vacant, but that just made it a great time to go and enjoy the entire time without any crowds. I highly recommend this location if you are planning to spend time in Roatan.

This is my 6th or 7th trip to Roatan and always stay at Splash Inn. The staff is amazing. The front desk staff Eliesa and Leonela are always willing to help out with whatever you need. The restaurant servers, Elessay,, Sterling, Derrol and Norma go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and nobody ever forgets your name. All of the housekeeping staff ( while they don’t speak perfect English like the rest of the staff) are always willing to help with whatever you need, extra towel, etc. The reasonable price, the centrally located location, great food in the restaurant and mostly the staff makes the Splash Inn a great place to stay.

Let me start by saying Splash Inn's customer service is even better than Chick-fil-A. Absolutely everyone from the cleaning staff to the owner (Paulo) are as friendly as you would want. And it truly is genuine friendly not “I want your money” friendly. On day two of our vacation my wife got a bug or something that, let’s just say kept her close to the bathroom. When Paulo heard about it, he approached me and asked if my wife might like some chicken noodle soup, of course I said yes since she hadn’t eaten in a couple of days. Chicken soup is not on their menu but he still had his staff make, what looked like, homemade chicken soup. Now they may have just opened up a can but it did not look liked canned soup. Bottom line they did not have to even offer. Paulo, you should be proud of your staff, Eliazar and Leo helped us almost daily, everything from making restaurant reservation to setting up taxi service. I am an early riser and even though breakfast didn’t start until 7:00, Elesmay and Felipe would get me coffee by 6:00. They did not have too but like I said, everyone at this resort are there to make you happy. The dive shop is no exception. One day I was the only person diving but that didn’t stop them. The manager of the shop, Christian, took me out all by myself. It would have been understandable if they would have told me that they couldn’t burn up the expensive fuel just for one person but no, he took me out anyway. Our daily dive master was Sterling, what a fantastic dive master. Not only friendly as you can get but funny and by the way a great cook. Sterling is also the kitchen manager for the night crew in Splash Inn’s kitchen. Sterling made us and two other couples a fantastic fish, shrimp, and lobster stew and set up tables out on the dive pier for a dinner by candlelight evening. I can’t say enough great thing about Sterling. Bottom line, if you want great service with great diving at an extremely reasonable price you can’t go wrong with Splash Inn. We have been there twice and will see them again next May!

Not my first time at Splash. Staff are excellent with a member of the management team always around. Thanks for looking after us Raffa when we needed to make some changes around our stay. Dive shop, accomodations and restaurant all within the complex at Splash. Breakfast included.
If you don't mind a bit of noise this is a great location. If you want it to be quieter stay down the street at the West End Villa properties which is very nice, pool for both locations is on this site. 24 hour security is a nice feature. It is only a 5 minute slow walk between properties. If staying at the West End Villa site you still get the breakfast, all you need to do is walk over to the restaurant at Splash.

We stayed at the Splash Inn for 7 nights in January 2022. The room was modest, but just what we needed and had a nice sitting area in front (we had a ground-level room). My husband purchased a dive package with the hotel and had a great experience. Everyone on staff was great from the reception desk to the restaurant servers to the cleaning crew to the diving crew. The location was perfect, right in the heart of West End and we could walk everywhere we needed, with water taxis just across the street. If you are looking for luxury, this is not your place. But if you are looking for a clean, budget-friendly and welcoming spot, the Splash Inn is perfect!

This is my second time staying and diving with Splash Inn. You can get in a liveaboard amount of diving with three dives a day, but with the freedom to be more spontaneous about when and where you eat. The best part, when it’s all over, you’ve spent a third of what you would have spent on a liveaboard trip. The included breakfasts are great, the rooms have everything you need including some room to spread out, and the dive team and boat crew are some of the best I’ve dived with. If you love to dive, this is your spot!

This was my second visit to Splash Inn. This was a solo trip while the previous visit two years ago was with my sister.
The hotel and diving staff is great. Nora remembered my preferred breakfast drink after the first morning and the guys in the dive shop were quick to help me out with a problem I had with my personal dive equipment.
The diving is mostly reef/wall dives at recreational depths. There are many sea turtles, eels, spiny lobsters along with many other types of fish to see in and around the marine park.
If you don't speak Spanish, television is somewhat limited so I mostly used the free hotel WiFi when not diving or out having fun somewhere.

We just stayed there last week...we had plenty of soap and shampoo to use..the rooms we stayed in did not have hairdryers, but when asked at the front desk, there were a couple of available but they were just being used if you have a nice small one it's probably a good idea to bring it then you have yours at your disposal. Lastly, our room did not have a refrigerator and the water for showering and cleaning was non-potable however they do have plenty of drinking water at the front desk and restaurant area free of charge... there's a great grocery store about a few blocks away that has great pricing on anything you may need... hope this helps we really did enjoy our stay.
No, it is not. And nor do you want it to be! There are a lot of great places to eat/drink/relax just a few mins walk away in either direction. Go explore! You won't regret it!

I was certified there - it took me 3 days, but I did everything there. If you did the academic part at home before you traveled, it would be less (the course for me was 1 academic day and 2 dive days, including a confined water part).
There are more places to choose from in the West End area.
