Alejandro, Gustavo, and Eduardo the best bartenders out there, they hooked us up every time they saw us coming to the bar! Order a sexy Gustavo from Gustavo and Superman/Scooby shots from Alejandro - 10/10 recommend they are delicious!! They are the best:)

We arrived at resort around 11:30 AM their time.
Check-in was extremely slow and poorly organized - our rooms were not ready as only available at 3 PM . We asked our travel agent that 2 rooms were next to each other (we were 4 travelling) but unfortunately this was not possible. They upgraded us to a larger suite which was nice and clean and well situated. We stayed in room 10-3...... which was nice as it was close to lobby, restaurants, gift shop, but the view we had was nothing to rave about
Air-conditioning was fantastic! Very necessary as it was extremely humid but raining constantly which was a real downer. Bathroom shower tiles needs a little fixing as they are cracked.
BUFFET- Very disorganized as they have a couple of employees at the front desk taking names - room # and allergy infos then you advance and wait for them to bring you to a table. WTF is this for - it's a BUFFET serve yourself so why do we need to be seated and lineups outside for nothing and all this waiting in the rain.
They definitely need to change this method real quick! I have been to many resorts and it's the 1st time I see this! I understand this for the restaurants who require reservations but certainly Not a buffet!!!
The food was good but became repetitive after a few days. Breakfast was the best !
CAFÉ – delicious coffees, especially when the man was making them (Sorry, I forgot his name )
Pools are beautiful – but water was a little too cold for me !
Beach - horrible due to the huge piles of black seaweed everywhere. Very disappointing but not anyone's fault.
Entertainment - Yoda and Gus were AWESOME!! They were fun, entertaining and mingled with the guests, which was really nice! Thank you guys!
One irk with the entertainment was they played toooo much American music and hardly any Latino music. We travel to these resorts and certainly expect to hear Latino music – we listen to American music at home!
Housekeeping - fantastic – room was always spotless!
Overall, the Staff were all very nice, polite and helpful which made our stay very nice.
We enjoyed ourselves even though it rained sooooo much.

Went on 9th June for 2 weeks, stayed El Beso adult only. I am well travelled and have been to 2 previous resorts in Mexico which this place is not a patch on.
Positives- Clean resort, close to airport and the rooms were very nice cleaned daily and the air-conditioning was great.
Staff made this hotel, big shout to Ricardo, Jose and Wilberth round the El Beso pool they were really attentive and friendly.
David on entertainment round pool is a lovely young man
Also Hilda at the lobby serving drinks and Eduardo at pool bar all lovely people. The drinks were nice.
The main thing I loved here was the Raccoons they were so cute and friendly and loved Mike's cookies from the coffee shop.
Negatives - Biggest one is the food, the buffet was bland and near as dam it the same every time
We tried all restaurants.
Mexican - Awful food was bland had no taste service was awful as well.
Sensai - depends on chef and people round table, went twice first one chef was boring and nobody spoke, second time chef was funny entertaining and nice people round table.
Villa marina - Brazilian, they brought all your meats at same time one straight after the other before you finished first one, the red green system did not work they rushed you in and out.
Italian - nothing exciting
Blue Moon - Best one there, ok food and atmosphere.
Mike's coffee shop was a life saver as the coffee on restaurants was awful as was the orange juice in a morning.
The hotel has rules but does not enforce them, so even though it says no swimwear in the lobby bar reception there were young girls in bikinis showing all their arses whilst your having a nice drink.
All in all we made the best of it and had a good time but a combination of poor food and raining 10 days out of the 14 I was ready to come after 10 days.
I would not return to this hotel or probably even the H10 chain if this is the quality and would recommend choosing somewhere else.
Spent alot of time talking to people who were H10 members who said they would not return either as standards have slipped.
