As a family of 3 we took a family apartment for 2 nights. In general the impression was good, but they missed to clean/fix some obvious parts of the bathroom (especially the towel holder/radiator). The pillows in one room were terrible, but in the other one completely okay. Still, this is completely acceptable, nothing to influence our stay in a negative way (so far).
It was clear that this is an old building, so we were not expecting complete silence. Unfortunately our apartment (number 3) was just above the kitchen, which got ultra noisy around the closing and opening times. For this 30-45 minutes it was far from relaxing and our 1 year old woke up multiple times. For sure the room can not be moved elsewhere, but I am sure they could make this better.
The breakfast was quite poor, some fresh stuff mixed with 1+ day old ones. Due to COVID situation it is served by someone, so you can not just take it yourself (and this someone dissappeared from time to time for a while). But when we received our omlett once, then we got the cutleries directly from the hand of a cook (or someone from the kitchen), so in this way the restrictions are meaningless. Fruit juice was from the bottom shelf, just like the ham and the salami. Getting anything from the nearby Lidl would be a way better choice... For sure, because of our 1 year old child, it was easier to have a breakfast there, but I recommend to skip it.
In the restaurant the service was more than perfect, the waiter was really polite, respectful and friendly. The meals... half-half. I was really satisfied with my steak, but some other things were just average or below it. Anyway, the restaurant area left a positive impression in me.
At check-out no one asked us anything about our stay (about any positive or negative feedback). Considering the price it is still not a bad place to stay, but with minimal effort they could make it much more better. I would still go back, but not to room number 3 and by skipping the breakfast completely.
