We enjoyed our stay in Antiga Casa Buenavista. Great and very clean hotel with very good location for first time in Barcelona. We would reconmend this hotel for all.

Despite an issue with payment between The agency and the hotel - the hotel does well deserve a 5 star rating.
A spotless clean property across the entire space a welcome restaurant to the left of reception makes a fresh and tasty breakfast in a cool and inviting space.The rooms like the rest of the property mix well art deco touches with modern clean lines. The bed was very comfortable. Small detail but the towels were maybe a little hard not white and fluffy.
The pool
Deck although small is a nice roof top space beautiful garden and very comfortable day beds although only 7 I had no issue getting one during my stay.
Staff are all very friendly and welcoming.

Overall a beautiful hotel with overly accommodating staff.
Our first night at the hotel was awful. We were on the 4th floor in a Raval room (that was beautiful and comfortable). Unfortunately, our neighbors were visiting for some sort of EDM festival and were blasting EDM club music at various hours (including 4:30 am) which woke us up from sleep and also prevented us from falling asleep. Manuel repeatedly went to their room to ask them to turn off their music (and we actually heard the neighbor yelling at poor Manuel). They finally made their music soft enough for us to sleep with earbuds in.
The next day, after a very long night, David and Lidia were incredibly apologetic and gave us a new room (somehow even more beautiful) on a different floor overlooking a different street, and also treated us to some artisanal chocolates, which were delicious.
The breakfast was fantastic, and the breakfast staff was beyond friendly.
The pool was *extremely* small. Only 6 lounges for use. I suppose if you get there early, it’s lovely.
Overall, a lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and unbelievably nice and accommodating staff who bend over backwards to make sure hotel guests receive an above and beyond experience. I do wish this hotel was located a bit farther away from the hustle and bustle (Grácia was WAY more our speed), but for those who want to be close to all the action, it’s a beautiful oasis in the city of Barcelona.
Again, highest compliments and thanks to Manuel, Lidia, David, and the breakfast staff for being so kind, so helpful, and so accommodating.
Room tip: Ronda and Raval rooms were both very quiet and comfortable. Stay elsewhere in the city if you want to avoid crowds.

We had a wonderful time at Antiga Casa Buenavista and I would recommend it to anyone! it was so clean and fresh but also extremely charming. I am missing the breakfast everyday!
the Goya room we stayed in had so much wall storage for our luggage and clothes and it helped keep the room clean. I loved the bed and the black out shades. truly would recommend this hotel to everyone. we had friends stay in other hotels and were jealous of our place! 10/10!
Everyone at the hotel was so kind and helpful.

This hotel is a gem. Thoughtful modern design. Rooftop pool. Beautiful and delicious restaurant. In addition to breakfast every day, we ate one lunch and two dinners at the hotel -- it turned out to have our favorite restaurant in Barcelona. Excellent helpful staff. If ever in Barcelona again, we will return.

An amazing stay at Antiga Casa Buenavista. The staff couldn't do enough for us, the hotel was modern, very clean and had such a homely feel to it. Definitely a 5 star hotel! We would defiantly recommend staying at this hotel, it was in a perfect location and in walking distance to El Born and The Gothic Quarter. The rooftop pool was perfect to chill out on days where we wanted a slower pace.
