Nice Room, Tiny Shower

I love the room, great bed and linens, plenty of pillows. Nice chair, and tv. But that tiny shower enclosure, it’s just right. I am a skinny lady, and I hit my elbow on the metal bar inside the enclosure. The shower has plenty water pressure and it would be so nice to stretch ones arms out. Or even turn around. The bathroom has a large bathtub, it takes up all the space.
The room is quiet and the location of the hotel is perfect. Nice breakfast buffet downstairs in the restaurant.

This hotel is really clean and beautiful. The staff is helpfull and really friendly. Highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for one day and enjoyed our stay. Very close to the airport. The restaurant was awesome. The vibe really positive. We enjoyed our cocktail.

Due to a tight schedule and needing a meeting with Central European based business partner we decided to meet at The Gate at Sheraton Schiphol hotel.

Brave move as I usually distaste hotel restaurants.

The food was fine, the service okay but there is a sense of ‘this is not our place’ and ‘there are no regulars’ so why should we care. All done in a very professional manner.

Only eat here if there are no alternatives.

When traveling to and from Switzerland, we seem to always be running in Schiphol through customs and trying to get on a plane to Zurich or back to the States. This time we decided to break up our return trip, flew from Zurich, and stayed at this hotel 10/21-10/22, 2019.

You can't get any closer to the airport than this hotel -- connected via covered walkway. For the first time, we were able to leisurely walk through customs and board our plane!

We used our Marriott points and were upgraded with our Platinum Elite status. We took advantage of the Club Lounge for appetizers and drinks. We ate our last meal in the hotel dining room and it was good.

The room was very comfortable and VERY quiet. Even though we were facing the airport, we heard zero noise. Definitely a good choice if you must travel the next day via air or train.

The property is super easy to find an very well located at the airport, especially for travelers like me that often use Schiphol airport as a hub to take flights elsewhere in Europe or Asia.
The beds are super comfy which gives you a chance to recover from long flights.

I stayed in this hotel before and this time my flight was cancelled so I couldnt make it. Because my reservation was prepaid I knew I would be charged one night stay. However, due to an error of the hotel I was charged twice! so 268 euro insted of 132 euro. When I contacted the hotel the staff was very rude and I only got a reply by email a few days later.In thd meantime I was charged by my bank and only refunded in the next month.
The hotel error cost me a lot of time and aggravation and the hotel staff were rude.
Do yourself a favor znd stay away, better take the hilton down the hall...
